3rd July 2020Rules reminder for Competition on Saturday 4th JulyThe Captains Committee would like to communicate the positive news that competitive golf will shortly be recommencing.The first Mens and Ladies Competitions will start from Saturday July 4th and will be the second round of the Colonels/Metropole (Stableford) and a Qualifying Stableford for the Ladies, with the resumption of Tuesday Competitions from the 7th July (All Stablefords).Sign up is available from today for the 4th July and the following week (11th July) will be the Colonels Metropole (3) announcements will be made on a weekly basis for further upcoming competitions.All entry fees will now be required on sign up so each member has to sign up individually (no partner sign up).Members to mark their own scorecards, but record who has verified their score in the Markers Signature to enable the administrator to cross reference your recorded score.If you have downloaded the IG APP the mobile score recording has been enabled if you prefer not to post your card in the external scorecard box (located above the shoe cleaner by the changing rooms.)COVID 19 - LOCAL RULES -There are two local rules for competition play relating to the contact risk of Covid 19.Bunkers - Local Rule E3Bunkers: If clubs introduce a Local Rule to allow preferred lies in bunkers, scores will be acceptable for competition or supplementary score purposes. Please note: The distance for preferred lies in the bunker is limited to 6 inches and the area cannot be smoothed before placing.In proceeding under this Local Rule, the player must choose a spot to place the ball and use the procedures for replacing a ball under Rules 14.2b(2) and 14.2e.Re: Flagsticks-Flagsticks to remain in at all times, the Putt buddy devices may be moved to the opposite side of your approach to the hole by either you or your playing partner/s before you putt. ADDITIONAL MEMBER/GUEST 3 4 BALL TIMES Following the further lifting of restrictions and the higher demand for tee times the daily tee time format will be amended from today to enable an additional hour of 3 4 ball tee times from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Sunday - Friday for Members and Members Guests only. (Church Holywell Courses).Two ball times will remain from 8:00 am to 10:00am from Sunday - Friday.Simon GreatorexGeneral ManagerSt Enodoc Golf Club CLUBHOUSE REOPENING / COURSE RESTRICTIONS27th June 2020  Following the most recent update in COVID 19 guidance from the Government I am delighted to announce that the Clubhouse will be reopening from Saturday 4th July.As everyone is aware by now there will be some restrictions in place to ensure that we take every precaution to not increase the spread of the virus to avoid a further lockdown period. Please keep yourself, other customers and the team at St Enodoc safe by following these guidelines:Please only visit the Golf Club if you feel wellOn arrival wash your hands or use one of the sanitisersSocial Distancing – respect one another’s personal spaceAvoid shaking hands and close contact with othersDon’t congregate in large groups (No larger than 6)Please find yourself a table and view the bar and food menu. When ready, please place and pay (Card Only) for your order at the bar keeping at least 1 metre away from the person in frontCollect your drinks at the end of the bar and follow the one way signs back to your tableDon’t move any furniture (tables or chairs) – They have been positioned for social distancingObserve signage about moving about the clubhouse – Using correct entrance and exit points and if you have to queue remain at least 1 metre apartToilets are located round the back of the Clubhouse. Also on a more regular basis members are parking on the practice chipping area adjacent to the car park.
