HUSS faculty seek to help students learn how to think, not what to think -- a vital ability in a rapidly changing world.School of Global Affairs and Public Policy The School of Global Affairs and Public Policy prepares its graduates to take the lead in shaping the future of their nations and the world at large, with a strong belief in the interaction of international and public affairs, an unwavering commitment to ethics and the rule of law, and a recognition of the unique role the media plays in shaping public policy.School of Sciences and Engineering The School of Sciences and Engineering (SSE) offers foundational knowledge in the fields of science and engineering — a grounding in key experiments and proofs, theories and ways of knowing. Students are educated to acquire an appreciation of their responsibilities to society, and to prepare themselves for successful careers and leadership. The school provides an environment in which students develop their critical thinking capabilities, problem solving skills, communication skills and proficiency in the tools of learning.School of Continuing Education The School of Continuing Education (SCE) extends the resources of the university into the community by providing high quality educational opportunities for learners of all ages in Arabic, English, translation, business studies, computer studies, education and more. Through SCE's customized programs, the center also meets the interests, needs and schedules of individuals and organizations. Client organizations include multinational corporations, businesses and governmental and non-governmental organizations in Egypt and abroad. Graduate School of Education The Graduate School of Education (GSE) in recognizing the challenges facing Egypt and the region contributes to education reform by providing the theoretical, applied and technical assistance components needed to build the capacity of professionals in the education system.
