i was curious as to how i could create more pages without them being overitten by new things im adding, i dont mind the complex number stuff taking over the mess that was there before but if i wanted to make seperate pages is all i wanted to know.

Im my maths course, I study mechanics and statistics.
Is there any chance of there being work put on for those courses at some point in the future?

Steph Richards said

at 12:44 am on Jan 9, 2009

Certainly! This is the plan. I would like complete coverage of ALL the WJEC Maths and Further Maths modules but this is phase 1. You will notice that there is no C4 on line yet. This is phase 2. Mechanics and Statistics will be phase 3 and 4. Have you tried the Welsh National Grid for learning for Statistics .http://www.ngfl-cymru.org.uk/vtc/ngfl/stats/155/index_e.html
is the adress that will show you some awsome powerpoints and resources for S1.

Hi Steph : I had a look at some of your pages and was impressed by the amount of information available. What bothers me a bit is that by giving me writer's privileges I could/can alter the page that gets the wiki going. Do you let students do this? Or do you let them edit only selected pages? Obviously there has been a great deal of input by the students - that's great. How do you make sure it is not destructive?
Thanks for giving me a chance to look at a working wiki.
Hart

Steph Richards said

Thanks Hart! Its easy! There has to be a relationship of trust in a working wiki but if that trust is broken it is simple to restore a wiki page back to any point in its history. Then its easy to remove access from any person that had been granted access. Individual pages can also be blocked or given limited access to!. So far I have had very few problems except when the front page was accidentally deleted! The History soon sorted it out!!!

The idea of students and teachers getting together and helping each other further maths learning is fantastic and Im happy to help where I can.
Ive created a linked page from C3 with some worked solutions for inverse and composite function questions.
Watch this, or indeed another, space for some worked solutions for matrix and transformation questions on the FP1 paper.

Hey everyone, I heard a rumour that Bath University were looking for good STEP paper results to get on their maths course... is this true?

What can I do to help with the page

Steph Richards said

at 5:13 pm on Mar 24, 2013

Hi Jarrad. Not much you can do on this page but I have created a page just for you to upload links to Maths that you find useful/fun/cool/interesting. You can make your own mini wiki on that page. Have Fun
