There was no one interceding on their behalf, no one cared.What struct me as I was reading in the book of Ezekiel was the phrase, “ I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land.”Great cities and nations have relied on a structure surrounding them that would protect them from invasion and harm that would destroy their land. And when the wall became vulnerable, they would send men to repair. But we are not looking at a physical structure here, but a spiritual realm of protection – called righteousness which is our stronghold and defense against not a fleshy adversary, but rather a spiritual one.Notice the scriptures speaks of not building, but “rebuilding” or a rebirthing process. When a nation rebels against God and His righteousness, they lose His defense. In His sovereignty, and with His mercy and grace, He chooses one to repair the breeched wall  by our prayers. It isn’t a foreign adversary that threatens our way of life and peace, but the enemy within, the rebellious one, who prevents God’s restoration from taking place.  God has chosen an instrument as a result of prayer. As His instrument, God’s servant is restoring our way of law and order, justice and truth, and restoring opportunity for our nation to become, one under God again;  restoring the Judeo-Christian roots. In order for the rebuilding to take place, we call upon His Name – the Host of Heaven, the Lord of Heavens Armies. For apart from Him ( our Lord and Savior) we can do nothing.“See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc; no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,”Isaiah 53: 16-17 There is no condemnation for those who have faith in Christ Jesus. Who is the enemy coming against God’s righteousness? And what in heaven is taking place?“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12 It seems God’s Word has been hidden for many generations. Therefore, the wall that would protect our children can only be restored when they are taught His law and His Word flows unobstructed,  revealed again.God reveals our sins, as we pray for our enemies and put away the accusing finger. Then,  by faith not in our righteousness but His, the moment we believe and confess our trust in Him, He intervenes, stands in the gap, and places underfoot our enemies, while we proclaim His Name. (2 Chronicles 7:14, Isaiah 58)“And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.”And from the cross, Jesus prayed, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:44-45 God reveals our iniquities while we intercede for our nation. As we pray for our nation, we pray for our enemies, Why? Because, in doing so, we invite the God of our salvation to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh and then, revival comes through His mercy and grace and heals our land. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Therefore, Who is He that stands in the gap between God’s wrath and us? The Lord Jesus Christ, our only mediator, and defense, Who makes us righteous through faith in His salvation, alone?  It is the Lord, at the right hand of the Father, interceding for believers who have come to faith.   I sought for the greatness and genius of America in her commodious harbors and her ample rivers—and it was not there. . . . . in her fertile fields and boundless forests—and it was not there. . . . .in her rich mines and her vast world commerce—and it was not there. . . . in her democratic Congress and her matchless Constitution—and it was not there.  Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power.  America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great. Alexis de Tocqueville 1838“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.  This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.  For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people.”1 Timothy 2: 1-6  Share this:TwitterFacebookPrintLike this:Like Loading... “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12When I watched how the set-up to steal the votes and the voice of the people during this presidential election, appeared unfolding before my very eyes, I became fearful and discouraged, and there was an atmosphere of defeat, a foreboding spirit, circling my head.I pondered, how was it possible, after so many prayers, intercession, witnessing the weapons of the enemy demolished, time and time, again ( The Russian Collusion hoax, Ukraine scandal, the media’s suppressing the truth, etc., etc., etc.)  that in the midst of real victory,  we would see the enemy win at the end?Then I realized, what was happening- I was allowing the weapon of discouragement to cloud my vision, to get in the way, instead, of the illumination of God’s Word and faithfulness and what His Word had to say.    For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7I have studied God’s Word and in every example, when the believer confronted the enemy, he was either few in number,  or without shield, standing alone in his/her faith.And what about the weapon that crushed the giant’s boasting and confident head? It was not the accuracy and power of David’s aim, nor the stone, but His weapon was his assurance in God’s faithfulness and Word, instead!“David said to the Philistine, You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” 1 Samuel 17: 45Our President has been in a spiritual warfare, for the duration of his presidency, but through prayer, and not by anything else, we’ve witnessed the strategies, demolish. Why? Because we once were God’s enemy when we were deceived and did not know the truth. Romans 1:26So our weapon is prayer and intercession; for all who are deceived, to ask that they receive the truth and conviction concerning Jesus Christ, while as believers, we resist the temptation to give into Satan’s accusations and point his finger. By praying for those who are flesh and blood, we bring God’s judgment upon the real enemy’s head and destroy his plans.  Isaiah 54:9-14So where is Our victory? It is won in Christ Jesus. When Peter was asked this question by Jesus, He replied: You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God. Matthew 16:16Jesus affirmed what Peter said, telling Him, he could not identify the Him as Messiah, by his own reasoning or by someone’s persuasion, but His identity could only be revealed by His Father in Heaven. (John 6:44)“Jesus replied, Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.”Matthew 16:17The Believer s Personal Testimony Concerning Jesus Christ:So first of all it is important to know Whom you have faith, and the One you have confidence to take you all the way to heaven’s gates. Secondly, you must have faith in what He has done for the sake of your salvation. What did Jesus do to secure your salvation and guarantee you eternal life? He died on the cross, shedding His blood, taking on your punishment for all your sins, and then was resurrected from the grave on the third day guaranteeing all who believe, eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23Therefore, the scriptures say this concerning how to be saved and there is no other way: (John 14:6, Proverbs 14:12)“Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it.  It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place.I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said.  He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.”1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 (emphasis added)The Holy Spirit s Testimony Assures Our Faith:Lastly, and very importantly, when you believe in the testimony concerning Jesus Christ spoken and written in scripture by both the Prophets and the Apostles, you will hear in your own spirit and within your own heart, the testimony from God the Father,  and you will know that what is revealed about Jesus, the Son of God, and our Savior, is absolutely true, and His Spirit will remain in your heart as evidence of your faith.So what do you need to do in order to have eternal life:“And that message is the very message about faith that we preach:  If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.  As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him.  For “Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.”Romans 10: 8-13 (emphasis added)Jesus said we are not to be just hearers of the Word but doers as well. Would you consider, a person who goes to college, earns a degree in engineering, but puts that knowledge aside, and never practices engineering, an engineer? Neither is one who professes to know Christ, reads His Word, but never practices or puts what He knows and believes into action, a Christian.  When our foundation is in Jesus Christ, we will not remain the same, our minds and our hearts will be changed, and our actions will manifest His presence in our life: Be doers of the word, and not hearers only. Otherwise, you are deceiving yourselves. For anyone who hears the word but does not carry it out is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror, and after observing himself goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the one who looks intently into the perfect law of freedom, and continues to do so— not being a forgetful hearer, but an effective doer— he will be blessed in what he does. This becomes your personal testimony and proclamation concerning Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Luke 10: 25-37Superficial:  Concerned with or comprehending only what is on the surface or obvious: a superficial observer    Dictionary.comIn my last blog, The Spiritual Reflux Disease I used the Lord s metaphor, The Vine and the Branches to demonstrate how a believer must abide in Christ s love to allow the power of His love to flow through us to others. The analogy of the vein to the branches makes sense in the fact that He uses His vessels (branches) attached to Him to bring the source of His cleansing blood to those who need forgiveness and healing.Unfortunately, the Venaseal procedure I mentioned for the treatment for the Venous reflux disease resulted in a contraindication called, Thrombophlebitis a blood clot that develops in a surface vein. This is one of the risks of the procedure, along with an allergic reaction to the Venaseal glue. I had both.The area became swollen, infected, inflamed, and painful, therefore, I lost confidence in going forth with any more procedures.  I also was running a slight fever. I prayed, asking the Lord to give me wisdom on what to do.  So, I called my physician and he prescribed an antibiotic.  I took the medication for two days and was reexamined. The inflammation had spread, and it was determined that I was probably experiencing an allergic reaction to the glue used to seal the diseased vein. He then prescribed Benadryl and compression to the weakened area to allow increased blood flow. The combination of compression and Benadryl produced a decrease in swelling, pain, and inflammation. But the Superficial Thrombophlebitis remained. I am grateful for a physician who listens and is willing to see things from my perspective and do whatever is necessary for the healing to take place.The word superficial got my attention in regard to how I have approached relationships. It s hard to come clean, but the truth of the matter is I usually approach people from my perspective instead of looking closer and listening, more attentively. I also constrain myself in going only so far in my involvement with them.  That sounds pretty callous, but it s the truth, and I am sure there are those who sense this about me and turn away. How can I ever think to represent Christ and allow His love to flow into someone s life if I am not willing to lay down my perspective, and go all the way?I know I don t have the gift of discernment in all of this, but Jesus does, and He is willing to share it with me if only I would ask. And what s wrong in asking for His empathy for someone who is hurting. The story of the Good Samaritan comes to my mind as I reflect on all of this. It was only one who took the time to notice the wounded man and was willing to stop, be inconvenienced,  and then do all that was necessary to help him. He didn t take the wounded man home with him, but he took him where he could get the care he needed. There was always the risk of losing something in the process, but his compassion told him, it was the right thing to do.Sometimes it only takes a kind gesture, or word to let someone know of God’s love.  I pray I’ll  be willing to go as far as it takes to bring someone to Jesus, Who is always willing to meet all of our physical and spiritual needs. Whenever I stand or sit for a long period of time, my feet turn purple.  I become fatigued and there is cramping in my feet. That limits how long I can stand and walk.  Wounds take longer to heal in my legs, and this has been the worse symptom.  I have been diagnosed with Chronic Venous Insufficiency, whereby, some of the blood vessels carrying the blood back to my heart are weak, and lack the ability to return the blood efficiently.  So there the blood lays dormant, while in the meantime, that part of my body lacks the oxygen needed for strength and the blood resource to heal.The treatment I am undergoing is called Venaseal which works to seal the vein causing the problem, so the blood will start flowing through the healthy vessels, instead. This procedure is uncomfortable and a little painful, but is necessary to bring about healing.This reminds me of how Christ compared those who believe in Him as His branches. His life’s blood flows through his branches to produce the fruit or result intended. But if the branch is unable to abide in Him, then His life source is unable to be carried where needed. As the blood has to return through the blood vessels back to the heart to be oxygenated and continue to flow, so do we as His instruments need to remain connected. It is not an off again, and on again occurrence,  but an abidance of permanent attachment, whereby the believer and Jesus Christ become one and the believer learns to keep His commandments of love. (John 14:20, 2 John 1:6)There are things in the believer’s life that block the steady flow. Sometimes it is sin, and other times it is fear or complacency. Whatever stops the flow of the power of His love working in us to bring others to Christ, He must address. In His metaphor of the Vine and the Branches, Jesus says He must remove the branch that quits producing. This is not a permanent removal but a temporary time of isolation, one which brings about healing, and His vessel is made available again. This process of healing takes place through Christ’s discipline Who cleanses and refines our motives and purpose. (Hebrews 12: 5-6)To become a branch in the Everlasting flow of God s grace, acknowledge your sin, asking for His forgiveness. Believe in His Son who died on the cross for your sins, and was resurrected from the dead. Then, you will be eternally connected, sealed with His grace, by His Holy Spirit with the living water flowing from His heart to yours.(John 3:16, John 4: 13-14, Ephesians 1:13-14, John 7:38-39)By allowing Christ to examine our hearts and expose sin and possible wrong motives, we can have His love flowing through us again, and be empowered to bear the fruit of His character and His work. The consequence is, many times, irrevocable health problems, and for some, even death, as they find no escape. This delusion is an evil spiritual deception, a stronghold that can be demolished through prayer and focusing off the obsession, by accepting the pure gospel of Jesus Christ, His unconditional love, while meditating on the Truth of God’s Word.Just as someone suffering from this disorder equates thinness with self-worth, the one suffering from gender dysphoria equates self-worth by becoming the opposite sex. Psychologists many times blame others who reject the transgender for their emotional distress, instead of the disorder causing the depression. If a young male expressed female characteristics in gestures and preferences, they were labeled as such. The same is true of a young female who expressed male characteristics. The problem with this is culture many times determines gender characteristics, rather than sexual. As a child, I can remember a female friend who preferred to associate with the boys and to participate in their sports. She would dress masculine and wear her hair very short and slicked back. It came to my attention she was trying to please her father, a professional baseball player, who made it obvious, he really wanted a boy, after having two daughters. She really looked up to her father and I believe she was trying to conform to this masculine image he desired.  However, years later, I ran into her in a department store dressed very feminine selling cosmetics. I hardly recognized her and was happy to see she made it through her gender crisis. Walt Heyer, a former transgender, testifies there were affirmations by his grandmother, who would dress him up as a girl and affirm how “wonderful and cute he looked”. With this assertion, he received a lot of attention from her, and became anxious and depressed, believing there was something wrong with him. The delusion was also reinforced by the reluctance of others to dispute the false identity of him being a girl. The affirmation gained reinforcement when he was sexually abused by a male family member.Walt is now giving testimony of how someone who is experiencing gender dysphoria needs counseling, and how transgender affirmation through hormone treatments and surgery is destroying lives. He has created a web site to reach out to those who want help with this problem and also for those who want to detransition to their biological sex. However, there is an attempt to prevent spiritual counseling and psychological therapy for those seeking help. The owner can receive the same attention, especially if they say their dog is a “rescue”.  I believe we live in a society where many people crave attention and recognition that was lacking perhaps in childhood, and in family and human relationships, and will demand it in any way they can achieve.In my research, I discovered some transgenders who were not satisfied to get their attention by changing their gender but decided to transform into the animal or creature they wanted to be.I also found some people whose desire is to transform into Disney cartoon characters, dragons, and other animations.  Their fantasy was made possible because they were affirmed to become who they wanted to be. The tattoo artists and plastic surgeons are making a wealth of money by obliging their delusions.If transgenderization is normalized and protected by law, how will it be possible to discriminate in employment or in schools a person who identifies as a non-human being?Please view the examples of this taking place as we speak. In one case, a male transgenders to become a female then transforms into a hideous dragon. Notice in this first video that in the end, children are encouraged to accept his delusion, much like how children are forced to accept the dragon queens who come to read to them in “welcoming schools”.  The other video shows how a man also transgenders to become a female, then a tiger. Later in the video, watch how nervous a businessman becomes when he is asked if he could hire this tiger- wannabe. Could it be they are choosing to become animals because animals receive so much media and attention? Philippians 1: 15-18 Examples of Wrong MotivesThere are two examples the Word gives concerning someone doing what they think is right but with wrong motives. They know about Him, but have never come into a personal relationship with Him. The other is the believer, who testifies of Christ with wrong motives, through self-effort and vain-glory. In 1 Corinthians 11 in the new testament, there were Christians who were misrepresenting Christ by continuing to sin, refusing His discipline and unrepentant. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.”Philippians 2:3-4Examining Our Self-MotiveExamining our motivation is very important . In everything there can be a hidden element of vain glory. I need to allow the Lord to examine my heart to determine my motive, whether it be praying (Matthew 6:6), teaching , or even doing a good deed. It would be prudent of me to first ask myself the question, who is this really benefiting, or how is this honoring and serving the Lord? (Psalm 127:1 Corinthians 3:11-15, Jeremiah 17: 9-10) One scripture ascertains to this concept; whereby, even if I were to give everything up and even sacrifice myself in the process, it is in vain, if God’s love and purpose is not the motivating factor. (1 Corinthians 13:3).Christ s Righteousness or Our OwnOur righteousness is nothing compared to the righteousness required to approach a Holy God. But Praise God, we look to Christ’s righteousness alone, who has given us entrance into the presence of God through His sacrifice. All our righteousness are like filthy rags, and I can only be made whole through faith in Christ’s righteousness. Isaiah 64:6,( Proverbs 2:6-9)Personal TestimonyWhen I was young I sought to do what was right in my own eyes. In the beginning I just wanted to serve the Lord, content for Him to receive all the glory. Then, little by little pride crept in and God s purpose paled in comparison to my own. It s possible to be at times, ignorant of our own desire to serve Christ. The Lord was merciful by allowing all my work to go up in flames, while restoring me back to Himself, once again, cleansing my motivation and purpose. I would like to say, I never again got off track, but I have, again and again. I realize, I cannot trust my own heart, but try earnestly, to be cognizant of every word and action,bringing all under the Holy Spirit s scrutiny and examination.( 2 Corinthians 10:5) 1 John 1:9, Romans 8:1-2 James 7: 13-20 (Isaiah 55:9, Jeremiah 17:9, Proverbs 3: 5-6, Ephesians 2:10, Jeremiah 29:11, Genesis 11:1-9, 1 Peter 4:18, 1 Corinthians 3: 10-15, Deuteronomy 30 Luke 18:1-8“And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?”Today, It is the worse of times and the best of times with a present spiritual revolution in overthrowing the strongholds of principalities and powers on high.(Ephesians 6:12)Our Nation’s StrongholdsFor a long time, governmental policies, corrupt leadership and power hungry politicians have held an upper hand in dismantling our constitution and perverting justice. But now we are eyewitnesses that in the fullness of time God is hearing our prayers, exposing the darkness as we turn back towards the light.For many years, God’s people have prayerfully interceded, concerning the false indoctrination in our schools, the lost of innocent human life in abortion mills, the attack on free speech and religious liberty and the perversion of justice in our legislative branch and judicial system. Roles have reversed. Legislators are misrepresenting the constitution and rendering judgments while the Judiciary seeks to legislate law.The enemy has occupied these high places of authority too long and in the fullness of time God has ordained to act on behalf of our prayers.A Call to PrayerMany times, I have heard the call to prayer in the scripture,  2 Chronicles 7: 14 recited with one important phrase left out. Here is the scripture in its entirety: “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”To Seek God’s face is to seek His presence. In this verse God promises if we turn back to Him by desiring His presence and repent of our sinful ways, He will hear our petitions and restore us again to live righteously and restore our land.    Where we live is the place where we are to occupy for His purpose and glory. What usually is left out as part of this conditional promise is this phrase:                   “ turn from our wicked ways”.How can we begin to intercede for the injustices and sins of our nation when we refuse to acknowledge our own?Representing ChristIt is a serious matter to say we believe in Jesus and represent Christ and continue sinning. When we accept Jesus Christ as Savior we also except Him as Lord. God cannot hear our prayers when we refuse to hear him. (Psalm 66:18-20)Many of us in the body of Christ are presently resembling the world. Yet, we are called out of the world’s standards to embrace God’s Kingdom principles:(2 Corinthians 6:14-18)“The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.”Galatians 5:19-21Not of this WorldWe are in this world but not of this world and are admonished to come out. We are not to blend in and compromise nor be politically correct in order to save ourselves.  We are to stand firm in our faith representing our Lord by practicing His righteousness. The world is looking for genuineness. If we blend in with the world then we obscure His light and the Truth.  (John 17:15-21)                                                            His Word is TruthMany in the body do not read the Word of God and are led astray.(Hosea 4:6, 1 Peter 2: 2-3).  We need to return to our first love and place Christ first above all ambitions and desires (Revelation 2:4).God Judges His PeopleJudgment first begins with the household of God. When we recognize our own sin and repent, we then can see how to intercede for the sin we see in our nation and others.(1 Peter 4:17, Matthew 7:5)My Testimony of God s Grace and MercyAlmost 40 years ago I was ensnared by the devil by changing my ambitions to serve Christ to serving myself.  It was a subtle process. My heart was to follow Him but along the way I became enamored with building a ministry where I was also tempted to share in His glory. It soon developed into making a name for myself. Like those who began building a tower to heaven, I became confused and my works were burned up while I escaped through the trial of fire and God’s discipline and judgment( James 5:9, 1 Corinthians 3: 12-15). God had my attention and through His mercy and grace I saw my sins and repented.“Before I was afflicted, I went astray, but now I obey your word. You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees.” Psalm 119:67-68No Condemnation is Christ JesusEphesians 1: 13-14I believed at the time I could lose my salvation and when the devil began to accuse me, I accepted his accusations. I didn’t understand until much later there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus, and when we confess our sins God is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (Romans 8:1-2, 1 John 1:9) In my trial I experienced God’s judgment and discipline but also His forgiveness and restoration. If we are to be effective witnesses, representing His righteousness, we must respond to His discipline and turn from our wicked ways.  (Hebrews 15: 5-6)How are we any different from the world when we allow circumstances to shape our faith. Do we doubt and fear? Do we wink at sexual immoralities and excuse it by practicing it ourselves?This is the time, we, the body of Jesus Christ need to get serious and surrender all for His sake.  We need to truly represent Him and receive the power from on high as witnesses and instruments of Christ to shine as lights to a generation and a world who are seeking to know the Truth.PrayerDear Heavenly Father,Where there is hypocrisy, let there be straightforwardness. Where there is fear, let there be courage. Where there is dishonesty in presenting the gospel, in any way, let there be integrity and your Truth, without compromise.  Lord bring us to the place where it is done not by might, nor by power but through your Holy Spirit. John 3:16I once thought it’s how I love others that determines whether or not God accepts me at any given time. But I have discovered it has nothing to do with how I love but rather how He loves and He loves me unconditionally. He loved me by sending His Son, Jesus Christ to pay the penalty for all my sins, yesterday, today and tomorrow. Now that I am confident of this truth, knowing there is nothing that can separate me from His love, ever, I feel free to love others. Romans 8: 38-39I can not add anything to what Christ accomplished on the cross by what I do or don’t do. After He suffered the consequence for every sin, He proclaimed that the work He came to do was Finished. His love was so perfect; His Work so complete that there is nothing I can do to add to His Perfect Salvation. To do so, is to not believe in His work but my own. But all my righteous acts are filthy in comparison to His pure love which has nothing selfish attached. If it required any good works of my own, then it was in vain that Christ died, and therefore the work He came to do in reconciling me to the Father is incomplete.So what is perfect love. Perfect love is unconditional, complete,lacking nothing. He first loved me. When I accept His unconditional love, by faith in His salvation through Jesus Christ, then I also accept His gift of eternal life. 1 John 4: 18-19What person after given a perfect gift of love, says, I cannot accept it as it is, it’s not good enough, let me add something to it to make it more acceptable?But we have not been given an inferior gift, but one which was taken right from the bosom and heart of God – His Beloved Son.Now I know why the Apostle John referred to himself as the one in whom the Lord loved. He discovered His unconditional love and was content to simply accept it, and was confident in it  lest he forget. Jesus loves me, this I know. John 13:23There have been occasions while receiving a gift I’ve felt guilty or because of my pride I could not accept it unless I could give something in return. To simply receive a gift and enjoy it is hard for me. I have no problem giving gifts. In fact I delight in it.God has given His very best through sending His Son, Jesus Christ to die for my sins, and then sending me the gift of His Holy Spirit to guide and direct me in all my ways.John 14: 16-17How could I say to Him, no, I can’t accept your gift unless I can give you something in return. What could I possibly give Him to equal what He has given?What could I possibly give back to God in exchange for His Great Salvation? How could I possibly match His Love?In all  I do or don’t do, God can’t love me any less or more because His Love is not determined by who I am but WHO HE IS. John 8:58, Exodus 3:14And as I allow His Love each and every day take hold of all I say and do I pray I can express His Great Love to others. John 14: 15-17“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,” Ephesians 3: 14-17Share this:TwitterFacebookPrintLike this:Like Loading... “For since the creation of the world God s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” Romans 1:20 God’s Word + Faith = New Birth “Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3: 3“He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him, He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,  Children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1: 10-14     When the angel, Gabriel appeared to Mary, he came with God’s “Word”.  She was to become the dwelling place for God’s only begotten Son- Jesus Christ. Mary was a virgin and did not know how this could be possible.  All the prophets born had an earthly father.   What the angel was telling Mary was that God Himself would be the Father. This was beyond Mary’s comprehension, but she believed and accepted “His Word”.  The moment she believed, God’s Son- Jesus Christ was conceived not only in her womb but in her heart.  If she had not believed she would not have been the dwelling place of the “One” who had left heaven to dwell with mankind. But because God knows all things, He knew she would.      Jesus is the seed that left heaven to penetrate our heart with the “Truth”. The soil or the heart that receives the seed is the dwelling place for its development.   Every seed contains its own predestination purposed by God (Ephesians 1:11, Romans 8:29).  A seed that comes from a fig tree can only develop into a fig tree and produce fruit.  So it was with the seed that was sown in Mary’s womb – predestined to develop into the “Son of God”.  Just as Mary received God’s Son and saw the evidence of her faith through His birth, we also, are called to be the dwelling place for God’s Son. As He abides with us and we with Him, He manifests Himself in our life (John 15:4 1:27). Our flawed nature (dna) changes into God’s divine nature (DNA) which is predisposed and predestined to develop into His image (Genesis 1:27).  God’s divine nature begins to mesh with our sinful nature until our sinful nature is less recognized as we yield to Him (Ephesians 5:18). Just as every seed that God has created is predestined to become what He has purposed, so has He predestined everyone who “Believes” to become His child.       Our part is to believe and receive.  His part is to transform us through the work of His Holy Spirit. The soil that is cultivated by a repentant, receptive and believing heart is the heart that is covered by Christ’s blood. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin (Hebrews 9:22).  When we receive God’s plan (Word) for reconciliation to Himself a “Holy” God, the “Seed of Truth” will not lay dormant but grow up reaching into heaven and into eternal life.  Just as the womb must be covered with blood in order to receive the implant of the father’s seed meshed with the mother’s seed, thus does it occur, spiritually. So how does one become born again? How does one leave the dominion of this world and enter God’s Kingdom? It is “only” through faith in God’s “Only” begotten Son who shed His blood and paid the penalty for our sins. There is only one path to birth, and one birth canal that leads to eternal life – “Jesus is that path ++++++++++++ and the father waits eagerly to “Deliver”. (John 3:16)“The TRUTH which is conceived in the heart through faith will develop into a “new understanding” of the divine perception, transforming into the very nature of God.
