I am a firm believer that an instructor is both an educator and a facilitator. As an educator, the instructor provides the students with essential information that they need to know about the subject matter. As a facilitator, the instructor guides the students in the direction they should go to find answers and to solve problems. I am always looking for ways to improve my teaching skills. I like to encourage my students to express their comments about my teaching ability, and the way the course is structured through the use of surveys or personal communication. I strongly believe that it is my responsibility as an educator to address student concerns and to make proper changes as needed in order to promote a better learning environment.
