Members of the merged agency include a mix of volunteers and employees from all areas. CHS provides emergency medical services (EMS) to the residents of Henrietta, Chili, Scottsville, Caledonia, Mumford, York, Wheatland, Rush, RIT, Greece and surrounding communities. We respond 24 hours-per-day with our fleet of 20 vehicles and over 100 volunteers and employees. We cover 188 square miles and responded to over 10,800 requests for service in 2018.No matter what type of medical emergency, CHS will arrive quickly and offer professional, courteous pre-hospital treatment to you. In addition, we provide a number of other services to the community including a free loan closet for residents, blood pressure checks and free community CPR/AED training to full-time residents of Henrietta, Wheatland and Chili.
