Street Fighter 5 is heading into the beginning of its final chapters with the release of its fifth season. In Season 5, fans can expect to see five new DLC characters join the fray — Dan Hibiki, Rose, Oro, Rival Schools' Akira, and a mystery fighter — though we still do not know the identity of the fifth and final contender. The first in line, Dan, is slated for release in Winter 2020, so we could be looking at new details about what's coming at the time the popular fighter launches. Right now, though, there is no real information on Street Fighter 5's final DLC character and based on past experience there are four concerns I have about their reveal and eventual release. Arc System Works and Bandai Namco did a fantastic job recreating Goku, Frieza, Cell, Vegeta, and other beloved anime characters in a beautiful graphics engine that oftentimes looks as good or better than the cartoon shows. But what happens if you completely tank the graphics settings and play the game then? MoldyBagel put together a video that conducts this exact experiment, and the results are not unlike the visuals of a terrible PlayStation 1 game. Continue reading Capcom has released the updated list of sales numbers for their games over on their investor relations website. In the fighting game space, Street Fighter 5 continues to see an increase in sales, and despite its bad reputation Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite has also upped its units sold. Featured in their Platinum Titles section — referring to games that have reached at least 1 million sales — Street Fighter 5 has seen an increase of about 300,000 units sold.
