Sevir reveals her curvaceous Mileena cosplay

Mileena made her debut video game appearance in Mortal Kombat 2 back when it was released in the arcades on November 1993. It would later be released on the Sega Genesis on September 9, 1994 in North America.

Though Mileena was created as a clone of Kitana with the added infusion of Tarkatan blood, she proved to be superior to her "sister" with their first appearances. Many agree that Mileena is the strongest character in Mortal Kombat 2 due to how her Ball Roll and Teleport Drop specials function.

More rumored spec leaks provide some indication on how the Nintendo Switch 2 will perform compared to the PlayStation 4

It's been over seven years since the Nintendo Switch was released back on March 3, 2017. Since then, the Nintendo Switch has accrued over 141 million sales worldwide, establishing itself as the third best-selling console after the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS.

Unfortunately, it seems that Nintendo isn't quite ready to release details about the Nintendo Switch successor just yet, though we're notably getting closer. Earlier this month, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa told fans that they'll make an announcement about their next console within this fiscal year, but we shouldn't expect this announcement to occur during the next Nintendo Direct that is to be held in June.

If you thought this Street Fighter 6 Rashid play was an input error and not a galaxy brain set up, you thought wrong...

Rashid's level 2 super in Street Fighter 6 is good. Really good. The massive tornado he throws out when activating this super moves slowly, lingers on screen for a long time, deals multiple hits, and buffs several of Rashid's moves and movement options.

It can and is frequently used for all kinds of tricky set ups, but hey, sometimes Rashid players mess up too and drop their mix up... Well, that's what this wild Street Fighter 6 clip looks like it's portraying at first, but in reality, what we have is an absolute galaxy brain set up that may or may not have been intended.

A new balance change for Lily in Street Fighter 6 Season 2 has been spotted and it should make her 50/50 mix up potential even scarier

Lily isn't considered very good in the current version of Street Fighter 6. A lot of her best tools are locked behind the need to gather wind stocks, and with things like a lack of invincibility on her Overdrive uppercut and level 1 super having such slow start up, Lily has proven to be one of the worst characters in the game so far.

That doesn't mean she doesn't have any strong tools, though, and her strongest ability is the one that sees her force essentially a 50/50 mix up situation after a blocked windclad Condor Spire, leaving her point blank on the opponent, at frame advantage, and making her foe guess between a standing light kick or command grab. Well, a new Street Fighter 6 Season 2 change for Lily has been spotted, and by the looks of it, this buff is going to essentially make this aspect of her game even scarier.

Professor Xavier in this old school X-Men fighting game might be the most unintentionally funny character we've ever seen

The success and popularity of the new hit TV series, X-Men '97, has people talking about our favorite gang of mutants in the fighting game space once again. The X-Men, specifically the 90s designs and characters, have been prominent in fighting games over the years thanks to beloved titles like the Marvel vs. Capcom games and earlier entries in the Versus series like X-Men vs. Street Fighter.

All this talk has somehow lead some fans to sharing clips from an old school fighting title that isn't quite as competitive or popular as something like Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Specifically, footage of playable fighter Professor Xavier (yes, you read that right) in X-Men: Mutant Academy 2 is circulating on Twitter right now and is introducing many of us to what is one of the most unintentionally funny fighting game characters I think I've ever come across.

Street Fighter 6 designers share new concept art and inspiration for A.K.I. and Rashid's Outfit 3

Capcom has now fully let the cat out of the bag with Street Fighter 6's final batch of Outfit 3 costumes, this time for the game's first four DLC characters. Thanks to some footage from the AT&T Annihilator Cup tournament that took place yesterday and Capcom releasing an official trailer for them, we now know what Outfit 3 looks like for Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma.

While we've had our own guesses on what the inspiration behind these new costumes is, Capcom has since gone ahead and released comments from the designers of the outfits that provide further details. We also get to see some slick new concept art for both Rashid and A.K.I.'s new digs.

The internet shows love for A.K.I.'s new Street Fighter 6 costume via tons of stellar fan art

Capcom announced on Tuesday that Street Fighter 6's four DLC characters would be getting additional outfits, and it seems one in particular has garnered the most appreciation: A.K.I.'s.

The poisonous fighter's new look is vastly different than her standard one as she slips into a sexy business suit, puts on large circular glasses, and dons a brand new hairstyle. Already we're seeing a ton of fan art depicting the fresh appearance, and we've rounded up some of our favorites pieces to share with you today.

Banana Guard revealed for MultiVersus; see his gameplay trailer here

Another new character has been officially revealed for Multiversus as the trailer for Adventure Time's Banana Guard dropped early on Friday.

The goofy fighter is literally a banana with arms and legs (and sometimes breasts) who wields a spear. How might such a character fare amid a platform fighter atmosphere? Continue on to see.

Capcom doesn't seem to be making a major change that Street Fighter 6 needs in Season 2

Street Fighter 6 is about to undergo it's single, major yearly update, and while more than excited from all the interesting changes we've seen, I can't help but acknowledge a tug in my gut that says they're missing out on one big alteration that would make things a good bit better.

Said change is something we've seen implemented before, specifically after about the first year of a new Street Fighter, and that's a general damage reduction. Hear me out.

Beatrix's gameplay trailer revealed for Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising; release date coming very soon

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is churning out yet another DLC character in the very near future as CyGames has released the gameplay trailer for Beatrix.

She packs some powerful hits with her massive Embrasque sword, and seems to garner enhanced abilities via arcane powers when she's in dire situations.

Frost's Deadly Alliance debut was her best look, and these beautiful high resolution Mortal Kombat 1 screen shots prove it

I can remember the first time I saw "female Sub-Zero" some 22 years ago while unlocking new characters in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. Not even aware that she was part of the game (the internet wasn't the leak/spoiler-prone entity it is now, and our phones were still widely attached to the wall) I recall unlocking Frost in the franchise's first Krypt and being absolutely stunned.

Frost has made a handful of appearances since Deadly Alliance, including a Kameo presence in the franchise's latest: Mortal Kombat 1. NetherRealm Studios has themed Kameo fighters with their nostalgic appearances and today we're sharing some high definition screen shots captured by TQT as he offers some up close and personal looks at the frozen beauty.

Akuma's air fireball in Street Fighter 6 might not be as oppressive as we all fear if this new footage is any indicator

Akuma's Street Fighter 6 gameplay trailer dropped earlier this month and brought with it our first glimpse at what the legendary Shoto can do in the latest iteration of the long-running fighting game franchise. I think it's safe to say that nearly everyone who watched that showcase walked away from it thinking that Akuma looks absolutely broken in Street Fighter 6.

Since then, though, Capcom has revealed a lot more information about what Akuma is all about, and one interesting detail about his air fireball had me wondering if the special move would actually be as oppressive as it looks and as it has traditionally been. This new footage from the Season 2 build of Street Fighter 6 shows the design decision in action, and from the looks of it, Akuma's regular air fireball might not be quite as strong as we initially feared.
