From the Cartland Room entrance you will gain direct access to that room or up the middle steps to the greet point and Sports bar. There will betwo exits, the front door which is also an entrance and the rear door in the rear lobby down the ramp. You will need to follow the one way system which will be clearly marked to enter and exit the Club and to use the toilets.Rooms.There are now 3 rooms in use, the Sports Bar and the Cartland Room and thelounge. Tables will be socially distanced and the onus will be on members to abide by the minimum 1m rule.Service.We intend to offer table service. With this in mind we do ask for your patience as inevitably service is not going to be as quick as you’re been used to. We will also ask you to clear your own tables to a collection point when you leave so the staff have only one area to clear. They will then sanitise the tables chairs for the next person.Payment.We have secured our own ordering and payment App. The app will allow you to make payment by debit or credit card or by using your membership card if you have sufficient funds on it. This will help minimise contact with staff we are asking you to use the app or direct payment by card, or off your membership account. If you need to pay cash you will have to top up your membership account and will need to speak with a duty manager to do this.Food Sunday Lunch BookingWe are starting back with a much reduced menu which will be more snacks than main meals and will be served in takeaway containers. One of the new things we are introducing is a selection of Paninis. We will be offering Sunday Lunch but not a Carvery. All lunches will be plated on normal not disposable plates and we do ask you to book so that we can reserve an area for you. We are also starting off this weekend by offering afternoon tea- Freshly made sandwiches scones.Sanitiser Stations. There will be a number of sanitiser stations around the Club which we encourage members to use. Staff will be cleaning down contact points on a regular basis and we have discussed with the staff the need for regular hand washing, which is the most effective deterrent for this virus. Staff will be wearing gloves when needed, but not masks unless they wish to.Toilets.Thelounge toiletswill be out of action and reserved forstaff use only. All other toilets including the disabled toilet will be accessible and staff will regularly clean down contact points.Coats Sports Bags. There will be no facilities available for hanging coats other than on the back of your chair and we ask you not to bring sports bags into the clubhouse at present.Snooker.You will be able to play snooker, HOWEVER you will need to book for this. The booking will be done with bar staff when entering the club. Both tables will be open and you can only play singles. You will need your own cue. At the end of your game you will be required to clean the balls and the rests with the wipes provided. There will be a sign up sayingwipe your balls when you’re finished. What more can I say!Darts.Playing Darts will be at the discretion of the duty Manager and will depend on how busy the Clubs is. You will need your own DartsSmoking. Please note, smoking will no longer be allowed down the ramp at the rear entrance to the Club.Chewing Gum.While moving tables into position for reopening we found a number of with used chewing gum stuck underneath. This is an unacceptable habit in normal times but in the current climate the implications are obvious. Please dispose of your chewing gum correctlyAnd Finally.A lot of what we have stated will of course be a changing environment and a moveable feast. The staff, manager directors are making every effort to ensure the safety of all with these procedures in place but entry to the Club is at your own risk.I hope I can welcome you all over the coming weeks.Peter HuntClub ManagerKings Heath Cricket Sports Club0121 444 1913 Covid 19: Risk Assessment (opens in another window)HomeTennisCricketSquashHockeyBowlsFootballTable TennisSnookerMoreDiningView More
