The Archive Established in 1976, The Archive is a journal devoted to research conducted in the archives and fine print collections of the Center for Creative Photography (CCP) at the University of Arizona. The Archive has sought to highlight both well-known and rarely seen material from CCP’s collections, as well as to examine the practice of archival research itself. CCP holds the premiere research collection of American photographic fine art and archives, promoting creative inquiry, dialogue, and appreciation of photography’s enduring cultural influence. The Archive was called The Center for Creative Photography for its first thirteen issues, and was periodically supplemented by a Guide Series.
