New RCS Student Registration In an effort to combat the spread of COVID-19, RCS has moved to an online registration platform for students new to the District. Food Services Beginning the week of April 6, 2020, meals will be distributed on Monday and Wednesday only. Three days of meals will be provided on Monday, and two days of meals will be provided on Wednesday. Pick up times will continue from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the school that families designated for pick-up. Families who picked up meals at Musson Elementary will now pick up meals at Brewster Elementary. Families who picked up meals at University Hills Elementary will now pick up meals at Meadowbrook Elementary.If families no longer require food service meals, we ask they email us at: focfoodservice@rochester.k12.mi.us, and provide the family name, number of students, and the location that was designated for pick up. 2020 - 2021 RCS School Calendar The RCS 2020-21 school calendar is available via this link.  Please note that school will start on Monday, August 31, 2020.   The printed booklet of the calendar will be available in September. Kindergarten Registration We are pleased to announce that online registration is now open for Kindergarten! Students that are currently enrolled in the 2019/20 school year Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program will automatically be transitioned to their home school for the 2020/21 Kindergarten program. You DO NOT need to re-enroll if they are a current TK student in Rochester Community Schools. The Association of School Business Officials International Meritorious Budget Award (MBA) recognizes school districts in the United States and Canada for excellence in school budget presentation, setting a high standard for transparent budget development. For the 2018-2019 fiscal year, Rochester Community Schools was one of 150 school districts in the United States and Canada to receive the award. There were only three other districts in the State of Michigan. For the 2019-2020 school year, Rochester Community Schools has earned the distinction for the third time.
