Welcome to the online home of “The Arbalest Quarrel.” The primary purpose of our site is to provide viewers with information on recently passed State and Federal firearms legislation and gun control laws, and State and Federal firearms bills.

Many forums deal with gun laws in a hasty and simplistic manner. Ours does not. We deal with gun laws in a careful, methodical, and detailed manner.

Our goal is to educate, not deceive; to inspire, not entertain; to protect the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms, not betray that right. We examine critical provisions of firearms legislation. We look for flaws in construction. We point to ambiguities, vagueness, and inconsistencies in the language of the laws. We show how gun laws really work. We lay out the myths behind the “assault weapon” – the centerpiece of recent statutes. We explain how antigun politicians and major news and media organizations perpetrate and perpetuate lies about firearms and about our right to possess them, all in a concerted effort to weaken our Second Amendment.
