The AGM was officially opened by the Minister of Finance Hon. Margaret Mwanakatwe MP and was attended by over 1000 delegates. Prior to the AGM, on Thursday 23rd May 2019, the Institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ZCAS University to award the joint Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Degree to CA Zambia students. In addition, the Institute successfully held the Pre-AGM workshop and the Annual Ball on 24th  and 25th May 2019 respectively. For more details click on the link below. The 2019 Annual Business Conference was held on 14th to 16th August 2019 at the Avani Victoria Falls Resorts in Livingstone, under the theme; “Emerging world order: implications on business, developing countries and global sustainability”. The Minister of Finance, Honourable Bwalya K. E. Ngandu MP officially opened the ABC on 14th August 2019. In a speech read on his behalf by the Controller of Internal Audit Mrs. Joyce Sundano, the Minister acknowledged the role that professional accountancy bodies play in the business environment through the provision of professionals that contribute to the nation’s socio-economic development.
