During this pandemic period, we have closedour genealogy research service and museum, so as not to create undue exposureto our 'all-volunteer' staff, Society members and visitors. ...Regrettably,but unanimously, the board agreed not to open the Alexander Research Center this year, due to the Covid-19 virus danger.  It is not possible, given the size of the building and the amount ofresearchers from many parts of Pennsylvania and the US, who use the facility, to accommodate social distancing and to insure a twice weekly sanitizing of research materials andfixtures.     'Toggle' for full screen view, or click any photo for slide show of interesting historical aspects and relics of Clearfield County, available through ourMuseums, Book Store,  and Genealogy Research Center !
