Why is this the case and why are houseplants so important?They Clean The AirOne of the most common reasons people choose to care for houseplants is that they clean the air. In a world with pollution, houseplants can be a great solution to the dirty air that comes with city living.They Keep Us CalmBeing around green is good for humans, it s what we like. You might not notice it but a room full of houseplants has a much more calming effect on us than a normal room.Caring For Something Helps Our Mental HealthNot all of us are in the position where we can have a dog or a baby, and not all of us want to. But being responsible for caring for a living thing can be so beneficial for our mental health.It gives us responsibility which is grounding. Responsibility means purpose.
