Bucktoe Creek Preserve is a 297-acre privately-owned natural area located near Kennett Square, in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The preserve is managed to enhance biodiversity and promote sound ecological stewardship through forest, meadow, and wetland restoration. Our primary goals are to provide a stable location for long-term environmental monitoring and ecological research, a refuge for threatened flora and fauna, and a site for educating naturalists of all ages and at all levels of expertise. Connections create networks. Most networks are that of big businesses. But, all will fail if ouronline payment systemsare not functioning properly for a long period of time as it would be nearly impossible to make sending and receiving payments something that can be done with ease.

When just a few decades ago, it was because of the capacity for us to travel that made the world seem to be more connected, aside from the global economy that was brought about by traders, we now live in a much more interconnected world. One of the reasons why our world is connected nowadays is because of the internet that enables us to easily communicate and do more such as watch videos and make an online payment for purchases.

The networked systems such as that of aviation and shipping are also connected to other industries like that of oil and gas. Without one or the other, these related industries do suffer when a crisis occurs. However, the very thing that makes these networks and other industries keep on moving is their payment systems. It is a must to earn and get paid fast for progress, and being able to send and receive online payments is deemed as necessary for todays global economy.

For those in business, it is good that there are online payments as the traditional method of accepting and sending funds through the banking network takes days to complete. Online payment systems fuse banking institutions and other alternative payment systems to make it easier and faster to transfer funds.

Like the news that can become viral by a tweet, most of our new payment systems are that quick and some are even invisible such as that of certain riding apps and shopping sites. For example, if you make an order at a shopping site, the funds are there. When the package is delivered, you have the option to confirm that it was delivered so that the amount can be paid to the merchant or the payment will be automatically deducted from your account after a certain number of days. That automatic deduction is an invisible payment, as you had initiated it upon ordering and enabled the shopping site to deduct the amount from your funds when the order has been delivered.

Long gone are those days when one has to wait in line in a bank to make a deposit or to withdraw cash. It is no longer necessary to have to send funds internationally through a bank that might take days to clear. Now, sending funds to the other side of the world may take only a couple of minutes for the amount to be credited into an account. The ease of making a payment transaction can be just that of a few clicks. Accepting payment seemingly just happens as the amount is credited into an account, though there are some instances that you would have to click a button to accept the payment.
