Greetings!Update From our Seneschal:it has been my pleasure to serve as the Seneschal of Dragonsspine for the past two years. The SCA is a non-profit organization devoted to researching and recreating the Middle Ages in the present. Some members concentrate on the study of the European Middle Ages and Renaissance eras. Other members concentrate on the study of Middle East and Asian Cultures, with many members working to recreate the arts and skills of their chosen eras, and also explore the interaction between Europe and Asia during the periods under study.In the Known World of the Current Middle Ages Dragonsspine is located within the Kingdom of the Outlands. The barony was originally established in May 1978. Our first baroness was Caitlin Caslean an Bharraigh.In the modern world Dragonsspine is centered around Colorado Springs, and include Monument to Twin Lakes. A comprehensive list of the holdings can be found here.We extend an invitation to all gentles to come and join us and spend some time in the current middle ages. We are home to some of the best archers, artists, fencers, and heavy fighters in the Society for the Creative Anachronism.
