Level 5 : Cavan Library Service in January 2021 Unfortunately due to current restrictions Cavan Libraries will be closed to the public in January 2021. On the bright side our Online Library is available anytime, anywhere! Throughout the coming weeks you can access FREE eBooks, eAudiobooks, digital magazines, online courses and international newspapers! Our delivery service to members of our community who are vulnerable/cocooning will resume in January and we will move on with hope. We wish you all a Happy, Healthy New Year and look forward to seeing you in our libraries again soon! Centenary Lecture Series - Enjoy lectures online today Cavan Library service is delighted to present it's Centenary Lecture Series. Speakers include Dr Sinéad McCoole, Dr Brian Hughes, Fr. Ultan McGoohan, Dr Darragh Gannon, John Dorney and Dr Mary McAuliffe and are lectures are free to access on our website and on facebook.com/CavanLibrary. This lecture series forms part of Cavan County Council’s Decade of Centenaries 2020 programme and is supported by the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht under the Decade of Centenaries 2012-2023 Initiative. The guide contains mental health and wellbeing information from Jigsaw and ISPCC Childline, including tips and coping strategies for young people and advice for adults on supporting children to build resilience. The guide is available free of chargeat your local library, and may be picked up free of charge when libraries re-open.
