You will be given access to our online learning platform, Chinesetown, where you can book your first class and keep learning throughout your stay with EF English First. Chinese classes are held for all levels from Survival to Intermediate.
Check the steps below to get started!
The difficulty of the lessons are increased by level in the following order: Survival – Beginner – Elementary – Intermediate.
If you are interested in learning Chinese and have no experience, I would suggest starting now with Survival or Beginner Level. Taking classes is a great way to understand the basics of Chinese, and to meet other EF teachers before you arrive in China.

Please note Chinesetown lessons follow China Standard Time, (GMT+8)
Remember to sign up at least 24 hours before the lesson starts.
You will be notified by email and get a calendar invite once you successfully signed up.
An email notification with a link to the online classroom will be sent 10 minutes before the lesson starts.

1) If you cannot show up, please email adonia.chi@ef.cn 24 hours before the class.
2) Please make every effort to be on time, late students will be removed from class.
3) Make sure you enter the classroom with Chrome Browser and have a working mic headset with a stable (preferably non-wireless) internet connection.
