Ever wondered about the movement of flights, the technical aspects of aviation, the workforce that makes it possible to fly smoothly as if magically transcending from one place to another? Welcome to the space that satiates this inquisitiveness of how those machines called aircraft fly and who makes them fly hassle-free and safely. There is a closely knit community of Air Traffic Controllers which doesn’t bask in the limelight. This space is dedicated to the officers not much known in the common world who work 24x7 in maintaining safe airspaces for all the flights that have ever cruised or will cruise and to answer the questions about how this community has emerged and is still evolving.

Excellence is never an accident, But on this date with destiny, excellence met with an accident. Shekhar was a leader par excellence. The manager administers, the leader innovates. The manager maintains, the leader develops. The manager relies on systems, the leader relies on people. The manager counts on controls, the leader counts on trust. The manager does things right, the leader does the right thing. We have seen excellent managers in this organisation who do things right. Few match Shekhar who always loved to do the right thing. He was a great leader because he always put U before I.
