THE QUARTET

We were a barbershop quartet performing mostly in the greater Green Bay area on down to Appleton and the Fox Cities,and throughout the great state of Wisconsin.We had a great run for 8 years, and stopped performing in July 2008.

Members of the quartet were:

2000-2002: Brian O'Neil, Chris Nimmer, Jack O'Neil, Scott Crevier
2002-2005: Brian O'Neil, Chris Nimmer, Nathan Falk, Scott Crevier
2005-2008: Brian O'Neil, Chris Nimmer, Kelly Vandehy, Scott Crevier

Looking back over our 8-year run, our most enjoyable times were touching the hearts of those we performed for.We all realized that God gave us a gift, and together, our voices were greater than the sum of the parts.

Delivering Singing Valentines was a great annual tradition. It was always assumed that we would each taketime off work, and spend the day together out in the community delivering musical greetings for husbands,wives, boyfriends, girlfriends and other family members.

We also had the honor of performing the Star Spangled Banner 53 times at sporting events for 14different teams in Northeast Wisconsin, including the innaugural home game of theGreen Bay Bullfrogs,the annual tradition of the New Years Eve Green Bay Gamblers game,and seven games for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Banquets and dinner engagements always gave us great fun. Without doubt, the most fun such gig we didwas a Christmas banquet for the Red Hat Papier Dolls in December 2007 in Neenah. You ladies were somuch fun! And this event also included one of those impromptu songs in the hallway...we sangDanny Boy for a woman whose heart was touched so deeply that I swear, her tears touched us back,and all four of us realized why we do what we do. It was definitely a good moment for GQ4.

So, if you were there with us on this ride, thanks. When you hear performers talk about how they feedoff an audience, it's not just talk. We truly felt our audiences joy, and we hope we reflected it right back atyou. If we were in your living room, thank you too. I hope you could tell how much we enjoyed beinga small part of your family's event.

Most of all, thanks to our wives and families for your sacrifices.Thanks for spending many Valentines Days without us.Thanks for cheering us on at all the baseball, basketball and hockey games that we sang for.Thanks for running the house without us every Monday night while we rehearsed, and on thoselong days and weekends when we travelled across the state.And thanks for supporting us and simply allowing us to go out and do what we love to do.

During all our years together, we sang our national anthem at 53 sporting events.We considered it an honor and we were sure to sing the Star Spangled Banner theway it was originally written (with harmonies added of course).These are just a few of those incredible events.
