Next year s representatives are:Kaylee Morris 21, Leo DeBruhl 21, Zoe Bishop 22, andAlden McGonagle 21. It was another great year for Seattle Academy Cardinal Athletics. We will add nineteenbanners to the gym wall! More impressive are our participation numbers.We had seventy-fourteams this yearand close to seventy percent of our student population participating in at least oneseason of athletics this year. Congratulations to Athletic Director, Cathy Schick, who has been recognized by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) as a Certified Master Athletic Administrator. As part of their project, seniorsMax Torres 20 andElena Zytnicki 20 created a clothing company entitledCommunity Threads,which reflects and serves the needs of their community amid the COVID-19 pandemic. During a time of remote learning, our Seattle Academy10th grade chemistry students have delved into the complexity of Acid-Base Chemistry. We are proud of Seattle Academy alums Kenji Lee 18 and Peter Springer 18 who are involved in Maker Mask - a Seattle nonprofit creating medically endorsed, reusable protective masks using everyday 3D printers.
