Strict protocols are in place and will be enforced.Seniors must arrive to the Pensacola Bay Center by 6:00 p.m. Doors close at 6:45 p.m.On June 24, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.your child will have the opportunity to participate in Booker T. Washington High School s graduation ceremony at the Pensacola Bay Center. Due to COVID-19, we will be adhering to recommended local, state and national guidelines in order to protect the health and well-being of the graduate and guests. It is recommended that guests 65 and older do not attend. The graduation ceremony will be live streamed.Graduation will be limited to six (6) guests in the Bay Center. Social distancing will be adhered to; therefore, you must follow the seating requirement of six (6) seats grouped per family. If fewer than six (6) people per family attend, the remaining seats are not available to other people in the Bay Center.The District and Bay Center is recommending you do not bring bags/purses only keys and cell phone. No other items will be allowed in the Bay Center. If it is medically necessary to carry a bag, you may do so and are encouraged to carry a clear bag. All patrons and bags, including purses, are subject to a security search. At no time can large crowds congregate; therefore, limiting items into the Bay Center will expedite entry into the event and allow social distancing. Tickets and graduation protocol information will be distributed by Booker T. Washington High School and will be ready for pick up soon. We will post the date as soon as it is finalized.Our goal is to celebrate your student s graduation from Booker T. Washington High Schooland your assistance in making this a successful, safe event is very important and appreciated.All incoming freshmen and new students will be issued a Chromebook at the startof the 2019/2020 school year. In order for a student to receive a Chromebook, his or her parents must complete the Chromebook Contract and view the Chromebook Contract film clip. Students are required to be available for instruction from 7:45 am- 2:30 pm. Students will be able to check-in directly through theirFocus Student Portal. Students should check their school email for updates on summer school assignments and communications from theirteacher.Suite 360 is a new resource available to parents and students in ECSD. It assists parents and students in developing knowledge concerning social and emotional learning. Suite 360 is also part of our mental health instructional lessons.
