Incorporated in 2015 as an Academic Spin-off of the University of Florence within its Engineering Geology Research Group, Geoapp is now, after the initial 3 years start up stage, a completely indipendent company.

At large open pits, infrastructure projects and unstable natural slopes Terabyte of data are collected every day by complex systems to characterize the rock mass and to monitor its behavior, resulting in a general under-exploitation of the available data.

Geoapp proposition is to support users from those markets in “passing from data to information” by combining the available data through innovative methodologies aimed at assessing geotechnical hazard in near real time.
