On these dates, service areas will not be available; however any online classes will continue as scheduled. Please note students can continue to access the student food bank on Fridays. Services continue to be available remotely. This past week we have once again been reminded of the continued need to stand up and combat racism. Given the recent events in the United States of racial discrimination, protest, and political strife, it is important for us to be unified in the fight against racism and discrimination of all forms. Sault College stands strong in its position against racism and discrimination. We remain focused on creating and maintaining a campus and workplace that respects, embraces and values diversity, and one where all feel safe and welcomed. We strive to lead by example and are committed to working towards our collective goal of providing an inclusive and respectful environment for all, and we are hopeful others will share in this important priority. One of the key components of our invitational campus is the acknowledgment that diversity collectively strengthens and weaves us together and adds a true richness to our work and student life experiences: a richness that cannot be matched. We will continue to be welcoming of all and to celebrate the differences among us that collectively make us truly exceptional. Together with the Sault College Students’ Union, we urge everyone today and every day to play an active role in combatting racial discrimination through their words and actions. Approaching our day-to-day with this mindset will have positive, life-changing effects on those around us and we encourage all to be a part of this change.
