Indians News Oct 21 Dryden Thomas advances to Semi-State The AHS Cross Country Team advanced one runner from the Delta Regional Saturday.  Dryden Thomas finished in the top 30 with a time of 17:56 and will compete in the semi-state meet at 1:00pm Saturday at The Plex (PFW s Campus) in Ft. The Anderson Wrestling Team placed third in the six team Wawasee Invitational on Saturday, missing first place by only one win.  The Indians lost a close match to Wawasee in the first round, then dominated the competition for the remainder of the day.  Due to a loss by Wawasee to Warsaw later in the day, The Anderson Lady Tribe Basketball Team won a conference matchup with the Kokomo Wildcats by a margin of 75-38 on Saturday.  The Tribe was led by Tyra Ford, with 17 points, Karlee Goodwin, with 16 points, and Erin Martin, with 15 points.  With the win, Anderson goes to 2-0 in the NCC and 3-4 overall.  Monday, November 18th, the Indians will host the Red and Green game to showcase all of the boys basketball programs offered from grades 6-12. Tickets will be sold at the door for $3.  In between games, there will be several opportunities for fan involvement including a half court shot contest and relay race for prizes. 6:00 On Tuesday, November 26th, at the AHS boys basketball home opener against Pendleton Heights, the Indians will be hosting Phil Buck Night at the Teepee to honor the late coach.
