Ms. Theresa has been blessed with over 17 years of experience teaching the piano to children and adult students - she aims to guide students in expressing their own unique voices at the piano with patience, communicative warmth and sincere involvement.

While Ms. Theresa's degree is not in Music, she studied classical piano and took music courses at Skidmore College, Queens College and Molloy College. She had studied Classical Piano with reknown artists such as:

Dr. Richard Hihn: Dr. Richard Hihn has appeared nationally in numerous recitals, chamber music, both in concert and on the radio. He maintains a strong interest in contemporary music, particularly the works of George Crumb and Charles Ives.

Dr. Ivo Kaltchev: Dr. Kaltchev holds degrees and diplomas from Yale and Rutgers Universities, Sofia Academy of Music (Bulgaria) and the Franz Liszt Hochschule fur Musik (Weimar, Germany). Currently, he is Associate Professor of Piano and Chair of the Piano Division at the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. He is also Visiting Piano Professor at the Beijing China Conservatory of Music as well as Co-Director of the Washington International Piano Festival in Washington DC.

Theresa enjoys playing Classical, Jazz-style, Broadway, Soft Rock and Praise Music.

She is a member of: National Guild Music Teacher, Music Teachers National Association, and New York State School Music Association.
