A variety of unique exhibits examine the three major cultures that made this valley their home. The Carpinteria Valley Historical Society, a nonprofit, educational organization, created, maintains, and operates the Museum and research library. The Society s mission is dedicated to collect, preserve, interpret, and exhibit objects of historical significance related to theCarpinteriaValley.VISITThe Museum has re-opened both its exhibit galleries (see hours below) and the monthly Museum Marketplace flea markets on the last Saturday of each month! Out of concern for everyone s safety, we will still ask that visitors observe mask-wearing and social distancing for the time being.
