*Upcoming Dates*

*Our first day of school will be held on Tuesday, September 6th. This will
be a half day of school. Our 2022 - 2023 school calendar can be found on
our district webpage at www.forestarea.org <http://www.forestarea.org>.
Please note that we have eliminated late start Wednesday mornings and
incorporated a few more half days into our school calendar. *

*With the first day of school quickly approaching, we have finalized dates
for our elementary open house and the Warrior Welcome at our middle and
high school campus. *

*The following times and dates are planned this year:*

*Fife Lake Elementary will follow this plan on August 30 to give
families and teachers more time to talk without overcrowding:*

*Last names beginning with A - F will be welcome from 4 - 4:30 pm*
-

*Last names beginning with G - L will be welcome from 4:30 - 5 pm*
-

*Last names beginning with M - Z will be welcome from 5 - 5:30 pm*
-

*The 4th and 5th grade open house will be held on Monday, August 29th
from 4:30 - 6 pm. *

*And, finally, the middle and high school families are invited to
Warrior Welcome on August 30 from 4:30 - 7 pm. Student schedules will be
available during this time. *

Forest Area Community Schools is requesting bids for snow removal. A mandatory bid walk-thru is scheduled for Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Noon at 7661 Shippy Road, SW, Fife Lake, MI 49633. Bid documents, including site maps will be available at the walk-thru. Bids must be received no later than 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 9, 2022. All bids must be valid for 60 days.

Mission

Forest Area’s mission is to provide a nurturing educational environment, which will help our students form positive attitudes toward learning, and help build effective life skills.

About Forest Area Schools

Our district consists of two separate campuses located a few minutes apart. We provide full time bussing for student pickup and drop off each school day.

Fife Lake Elementary is located 108 Pierce Street in beautiful Fife Lake, MI. Our elementary school includes preschool thru 3rd grade students.

Our Middle and High School campus includes 4th thru 12th grade students and is located at 7661Shippy Road in Fife Lake, MI.
