Travel the Erie CanalAn immersive 5 or 10 session residency geared towards 4th graders learning about the Erie Canal. Structures into modules focused on writing, poetry, theatre, music, photography, and videography, this program includes professional development for teachers, and builds in personal assessments and a final portfolio of work for each student. Arts Partners for LearningA collaborative led by Young Audiences, comprised of leaders from the arts, cultural, education, and philanthropic sectors of WNY.  The mission of APL is to expand access to arts education for children in WNY, improve the capacity of our cultural organizations, and provide quality creative learning programs.Funding awarded through APL brings arts and cultural programs to schools that are standards-based and integrated into the classroom curriculum.  Applications for programming for the 2019-2020 school year can be filled out online here. ArtWorksArtWorks is a paid summer youth apprenticeship program in the arts for high school students ages 14-18 that reside in the City of Buffalo or Erie County. ArtWorks gives students the opportunity to learn and practice essential 21st century career skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to think and work creatively with others. LARRY MOSS, Creative Director of Airigami, began his career 25 years ago as a NYC street performer, but has gone on to display his amazing air-filled art in 12 countries on four continents. Devi Bollywood DanceGaitrie was born in Guyana, South America and was raised in the Bronx, NYC. A graduate from the University of Buffalo, she spent 8 years of her life between NYC and Buffalo PUSH Physical TheatreAward-winning PUSH Physical Theatre is an innovative and exciting acrobatic dance and theater troupe. PUSH has been called “a cross between fine art sculpture and the Le Ballet Touba is a dance and music duo led by Robin Hibbert, a professional dancer and teacher. Hibbert was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and now lives in Buffalo. She holds a BA from the . Differential Flava Crew (DFC) has been Buffalo’s premiere B-boy (hip-hop dance) crew for the past 10 years, bringing style and originality to the urban dance scene.
