406 Not Acceptable! An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.I pulled my hair out a bit on this one today and had to share what fixed it just in case others are running into to.Here was my scenario I use forms in various locations across my site.  All kinds of form elements within the forms, including the use of textareas.  I was even using the TinyMCE plugin to be able to enter in formatted HTML based input for various textareas. Many of these forms have been working with no issue inserting all kinds of HTML into the form. Then out of the blue one of my forms started acting up getting the above error when I would submit the form.In a nutshell, a security warning was triggered on the server.  They are in place to prevent form and sql injections.  The rules are healthy but can often be a bit too aggressive.  In this case the rules were triggering a legitimate use for the form.  These forms are also being served from a shared hosting environment, so the likelihood of being able to change the security settings was slim. What did I try?The part that was killing me, was that other forms on the site were working just fine.  So something was wrong with this single form.I compared various forms, side by side.  They looked almost identical, except in the names of the elements and so forth.  So it wasn t an issue with the site itself per say other forms were working fine.Another part that was killing me, was that the form would succeed when only 1 line of content was placed in the textarea.  When I entered two lines of content, that was when the security rules blocked the attempt.  So it s wasn t an issue per say with the form itself in terms of encoding, etc. What was it?I was finally able to track it down to naming problem on the textarea element.  In this particular form, the potential of having multiple textareas were present, so I was using a non standard, sequential naming convention for the element.  In this case I used an abbreviation for the what the content was lme_ followed by a number.  So I had multiple text areas that looked like: textarea id="lme_1" name="lme_1" p my content /p /textarea textarea id="lme_2" name="lme_2" p my content /p /textarea textarea id="lme_3" name="lme_3" p my content /p /textarea One my other forms I use more meaningful names such as: textarea id="content" name="content" p my content /p /textarea So I decided to follow suit in this form that was giving me trouble.  I renamed the lme to be content .  I then had textareas with the following naming patterns: textarea id="content_1" name="content_1" p my content /p /textarea textarea id="content_2" name="content_2" p my content /p /textarea textarea id="content_3" name="content_3" p my content /p /textarea That did the trick.  I was then able to add in multiple lines of HTML content into my textarea form elements and they passed the mod_security rules.ConclusionApache s mod_security module is a good addition and shouldn t be turned off.  Instead identify the way that your form is violating the rule sets and change it that way.  In our case here, we were using suspicious naming conventions for our elements that contained HTML.  This caused a red flag with the security module which then blocked the request.  Changing the name of the form element to something more common allowed the request to go through. https://www.wpdevhub.com is a free site dedicated to providing Free WordPress Plugins, Tutorials, Code Snippets and more.PluginsNeed to extend your WordPress site? And when I say anywhere, I mean that memories are even created underwater – so the creation of underwater digital camera. An underwater digital camera is not just used to capture underwater memories; some professional marine photographers also use underwater digital cameras in their business. Even marine biologists and scientists use underwater digital cameras to capture marine life and thus be able to study the life and properties of the marine life. But I think it is safe to assume that you, my reader, are neither a marine scientist nor a professional photographer. Like me, you are just some photo junkie who wants to capture underwater moments and just cant figure out how without ruining your cameras. Please listen to me when I say that even waterproof cameras cannot withstand underwater photography. To be waterproof is to resist the water in certain levels, submerging in under the water to get the perfect shot is like throwing it out of the window expecting a pick-up truck to pass by and run over it.Now if you’re really serious about using an underwater digital camera to capture those wacky and funny moments underwater, I suggest that you buy specialty cameras. There are rarely underwater digital cameras, as cameras are electronic and cannot withstand water and water pressure. The closest electronics has ever got to producing underwater digital cameras are producing underwater casings for digital cameras. These casing will turn your conventional digital camera into an underwater digital camera. If you are shooting with your underwater digital camera, you need to take note of a few things to help you come up with the best images underwater.Remember that as you farther under water, light diffuses. This means that your underwater digital camera will produce images darker than those images you took while on land – this is because of the light diffusion the red spectrum seems darker. To avoid this, use white balance come up with natural colors. Also, pictures taken underwater will come up larger than pictures taken on land with the same zoom effect. Be sure to check your underwater digital camera’s viewfinder to check the right picture angle and size that you want.An underwater digital camera with its built-in flash will produce marine show phenomenon. It is a phenomenon wherein your pictures come out as blurry and with white particles floating above it, to avoid this phenomenon it is advisable to use external flash for your underwater digital camera. Before using your underwater digital camera, submerge the camera in the water first for several seconds then check if there are leaks through the case. Make sure that no grain of sand or piece of hair is stuck in between the seal to make sure that water will not permeate the case and thus wet your camera in the process. It is also advisable to put silica gel or two inside the case of your underwater digital camera as long as they don’t disturb the camera’s operation. (Silica gel will keep the moisture from forming inside your camera case.)Most underwater digital cameras come with optional lenses. Don’t be afraid to add these lenses to your underwater digital camera kit. Macro lenses will help you capture small things without getting too close and startling your subject. Also, remember to always wash of salt when you’ve used it under salt water. If the salts are not washed off, in time they will crystallize; act as sands and cause leaks for your camera case. In cases when sands seem to get into the case, they are better washed off with streams of water.Check out Sony, Nikon and Canon’s website for available underwater cases for your digital cameras. UnderwaterMillions of Americans schedule a Mexico vacation. If you are interested in scheduling a vacation in Mexico, or you already have, you may be wondering what you can do while on vacation. In Mexico, there are an unlimited number of activities that you may find exciting. One of those activities may include scuba diving. When it comes to scuba diving in Mexico, there are many travelers who are misinformed. Many believe that you have to be an experienced diver to enjoy underwater diving. This is simply not true. Before going scuba diving in the ocean, it is advised that you have basic knowledge of diving and strong swimming skills. However, you do not have to be an experienced diver. When vacationing in Mexico, there are many individuals who go scuba diving for the first time.Scuba diving is a pretty self-explained activity. Scuba divers are featured in many movies and can be found in many amusement parks. While the general idea of scuba diving is the same in Mexico, what you will see underwater is not. There are a number of underwater animals and plants that can only be seen in or around the Mexico area. This in itself is one of the many reasons why you should schedule a scuba diving adventure. In Mexico, scuba divers are often able to swim with the dolphins and sea turtles. To many, this alone is worth the cost of scuba diving. Aside from swimming with sea animals, you can also spend your scuba diving trip examining the life and environment underwater. Just a few of the many sea animals that you may see in Mexico include lobsters, eels, sting rays, and a large number of different kinds of fishes. The fishes found in underwater Mexico often include puffer fishes, spotted fishes, and parrot fishes. While the sea animals found underwater are the most exciting part of scuba diving, there are other underwater activities that you can participate in. Many scuba divers enjoy diving along coral reefs that are found along the coast of Mexico. Coral reefs are not only home to a large number of sea animals, but they also make for great adventures. You may find it exciting traveling in, over, or around the many different sized reefs.Unless you are an experienced underwater diver, you are advised to go scuba diving with a trained professional. These professionals are most commonly found with scuba diving tour groups. Scuba diving tour groups can be found all along the coast of Mexico. Scuba diving is a popular pastime in Mexico; therefore, you are encouraged to schedule your scuba diving adventures ahead of time.In addition to scheduling a scuba dive with a trained diver, you can learn how to scuba dive at a number of locations in Mexico. Many of these locations also offer guided tours. Scuba diving lessons are offered as group lessons or private lessons. Private lessons may be more expensive, but many first time scuba divers find them rewarding, in more ways than one.Underworld Scuba operates scuba diving and snorkeling tours in the Manzanillo area of Mexico. It has been said that the Manzanillo area is one of the best places to go scuba diving in Mexico. Underworld Scuba, along with number other companies, state that the area is thriving with underwater life and adventures. Another popular scuba diving tour company is The Puerto Dive Team, which operates out of Oaxaco Mexico. They are most known for their private one-on-one underwater tours. To find other guided tours that are designed for scuba divers, you are encouraged to contact your local travel agent or do the research yourself. Whether or not you have already selected your Mexico destination, you should easily be able to find nearby tours. The closer you are to the coast, the more tours you will have access to. What you can do and see underwater is absolutely amazing. It is likely what you see will stay with you for years to come. Scuba diving is one of the most rewarding hobby or profession that you can ever have. As a hobby, scuba diving is very enjoyable. It is a great way to meet other people as well as take a look at one of nature s seldom seen environment. You have to realize that the earth is covered by 70% water. The unique environments as well as the unique creatures are found underwater. This is why scuba diving is a one of a kind hobby that is very rewarding. Besides, as a scuba diver, you will have a chance to look at these unique environments and creatures that can never be found on land. However, you know that it s not really that much fun when you go scuba diving if you can t share your experience. This is why underwater photography is very popular for both professional and recreational scuba divers. Unlike regular photography in land, underwater photography is unique. You need different equipments as well as different carrying cases in order for you to take good pictures underwater. You have to realize the fact that when you are underwater, the color that you see isn t really the true color when you take it in land. This is because the very first color that diminishes underwater is the color red. The color is distorted and therefore, will look dull. Because of this, underwater photography has different lenses to adjust the lighting and also the color in order for you to take accurate and clear pictures of the underwater subject.Since underwater photography requires different kinds of equipments, you will also need a different kind of camera bag in order for you to better protect these sensitive electronic devices. Underwater photography nowadays will require you to have a digital camera and a specific underwater housing for it in order for you to protect your camera from water, and underwater pressure. The camera bags are also very different. It will usually be on a hard camera bag because underwater equipments are extra sensitive. Special underwater lenses are also available for underwater photography. These lenses will be able to give you high quality and true color underwater pictures. You also have to realize that light diminishes when you go deeper. In this case, special flashes and lights can be installed together with your underwater camera in order to create the best quality photos possible. When purchasing underwater equipments, you have to make sure that the underwater casing, flashes and lights, lenses, and bags are designed specifically for your digital camera. If you purchase the wrong kind of accessory for your digital camera, you won t be able to get it to work. Getting the right camera bag for your underwater camera equipment is also a must. You should look for a camera bag that has a hard case, waterproof, positively buoyant and one that can fit all of your underwater photography equipments.A camera bag for underwater photography equipment should be waterproof because when you disassemble the equipments, the electronic circuits will still be exposed. And, it should be positively buoyant because if you accidentally drop it on the water, it will float and can be easily retrieved. You have to realize that underwater photography can require you to invest quite a large amount of money. Obviously, you need to take care of these equipments in order for you to take quality underwater photographs and share them to your family and friends for a very long time. Digital cameras are all too common now days, but this availability can also make it difficult to know which camera you should actually buy. Typically, you want to go with a good solid underwater camera. Now this may make you ask what? why? You may not be planning to use your camera in the water and you may be scared off by the perceived underwater camera price. The reason why you should look into an underwater camera is simply because, why not? Now days they are essentially the same size and price as any other digital camera but they afford you more versatility and durability. If there ever was an occasion where you wanted to take some sea based photos, you could without a worry in the world. However not all underwater cameras are the same and there are a few things you should look into before deciding which camera to buy.1. DepthThe major difference in underwater cameras is just how far down you can actually take them. A good rule of thumb is that the cheaper the camera, the shallower it must be. While underwater cameras may be water proof, the farther down they go the more pressure there is and that is ultimately what breaks them as the water pressure can break the water seals or the more sensitive equipment inside. So when looking at underwater camera price, make sure to take note of how far down it can go.Unless you are a scuba diver or something, you will not need a camera that can go down very far but try to get one that can go down a little farther then you would take it, just to be on the safe side.2. Size and shapeUnderwater cameras are not some big bulky contraption anymore, they are the same size and shape as any other digital camera. However sometimes this can prove to be a problem as the camera may be a bit too small. When shopping for your underwater camera you need to make sure to get one that you can hold comfortable while swimming. Also try to get one that can be set up on slightly uneven surfaces, as you probably do not want to carry a tripod around with you just to include yourself in the shot.3. Adventure ratedThis certainly does not apply to everyone, but odds are if you are looking to snap underwater photos you are more adventurous in your photography. If this is indeed the case you will want to make sure you get a sturdier camera that can take the various bumps and bruises inherent in travel. Of course this also applies to everyone else as accidents can and do happen, and if you can afford it, it is always wise to get something that will last.4. PriceThe underwater camera price has fallen drastically over the years so that now days you can pick up an underwater camera for virtually the same as any normal digital camera. So given it s affordability there really is no reason not to just get yourself an underwater camera. Each year, a large number of vacationers make the decision to vacation in St. Thomas. You may find scuba diving tours right off the coast or tours that are hosted off of a boat. While searching for scuba diving tours in St. Thomas, it is likely that you will come across the Blue Island Divers. Blue Island Divers is one the most well-known and most recommended scuba diving groups in the St. Thomas area. In addition to providing their services to adults, scuba diving lessons and assistance can be given to children. Blue Island Divers offer dives that are focused on underwater wreckage and coral reefs. In addition to Blue Island Divers, it is likely that you may come across a company known as Admiralty Dive Center. The Admiralty Dive Center is a state of the art facility that offers a large number of scuba diving tours. These tours often involve exploring underwater wreckage and underwater sea life. As with the Blue Island Divers, scuba diving lessons and tours are available for individuals of all ages.As previously mentioned, there are a number of scuba diving tours that may be ideal for your next family vacation or romantic getaway. You can easily search for additional scuba diving tours by requesting a vacation brochure from the St. Thomas Island. Additional information may also be obtained through your local travel agent. If you are looking to buy a camera without having to deal with the hassle of underwater camera covers then there are quite a few options available to you. A lot of digital cameras now days are made to be used underwater as well as having a lot of other protective features to make them more durable for the more adventurous photographers out there. If you are looking to buy a water proof digital camera than there are several things you should look for before making your final decision. Digital cameras are not cheap so you need to make sure to get the best one you can.1. Sealing. The fundamental aspect of any underwater camera is the sealing used. After all, an underwater camera would be pretty worthless if water got inside of it. When looking at your potential picks make sure to pay close attention to any gaps such as USB ports or the lenses if they can be removed and swapped out. These are often weak points in underwater camera sealing and can spell doom for your picture taking if they fail.2. Picture qualityWhen it comes to modern digital cameras they all have a fairly standard photo resolution of around five megapixels. Odds are this will be plenty for your photography needs. You may be inclined to get a lower resolution model to save yourself a few dollars but in the long run the amount of money saved really is not worth it. Conversely, getting a higher resolution will probably not be worth the extra cost unless you are looking to take professional photographs.3. Size and appearanceFor conventional cameras the size and appearance are entirely for aesthetics, but when it comes to underwater cameras that do not use underwater camera covers, they can play a larger role. You need to make sure the camera s size and shape conform with your swimming or diving style so that you can hold onto it easily when underwater. Also, a lot of underwater photographers tend to get brightly colored cameras so they are more easily spotted in the dark.4. Check it s ratingNot all underwater cameras are the same and some will be more tolerant than others. For example, an underwater camera may have a rating of 8 which will make it good to use in shallow water. However for deeper dives you will want a higher rated camera. This is simply because the camera with a lower rating will not be as tolerant of the water pressure and would break if it went too deep.5. Max depthGoing off that, all underwater cameras (even those with underwater camera covers) have a maximum depth at which the water pressure will be too great and cause them to break. Make sure you check your camera to know just how far down it can safely go.6. Beware of chemicalsThere are a fair few chemicals out there that can damage your cameras waterproofing such as chlorine and petrol. Make sure to keep it away from harmful chemicals and only use it in fresh or saltwater bodies of water. If you want a camera to use in the pool, try a waterproof disposable camera instead. For those who have taken scuba diving courses, scuba vacations are the next step to enjoying the treasures of the deep and perfecting their diving skills. In almost every country in the world that is by a warm water coast, there are scuba resorts and scuba vacations just waiting to be discovered. Popular destinations for scuba vacations include:AustraliaHondurasTahitiIndonesiaHawaiiGalapagosDepending on the time of year and the popularity of the destination, you might be able to find discount on scuba vacations. However, many die-hard scuba divers would rather spend a little extra money for the best quality scuba vacations. Nevertheless, much of that money is spent on fancy food and five star accommodations rather than on the quality of the scuba experience, so it is worth doing some research and take into account your priorities before selecting a scuba vacation.A popular place to go for a scuba vacation is Montangi Island, which is close to Fiji. It is, however, a bit out of the way, and requires various forms of transportation to get there, but the spectacular beauty of the island and the large lagoon is well worth the trip. The lodging has gorgeous views of the ocean or the lagoon, and the resorts offer free tank refills as well as frequent transportation from the docks to the islands. Local nannies are provided for babysitting, if both Mom and Dad are going scuba diving, and many parents who go on scuba diving vacations to the Montangi Island report satisfaction with the local women as caregivers. The island is located around an extinct volcanic equator and has a striking 440 foot high promontory stretching upward. Many people who come to the Montangi island return for subsequent scuba vacations. If you are looking for great scuba vacations in the states, try Hawaii, with its many islands and gorgeous locations. The Kauai island is one of the most popular place in Hawaii for scuba vacations. You can choose vacations that focus on other activities, such as tennis and pool swimming, in addition to scuba diving, or resorts that are “scuba intensive” and provide opportunities for diving daily and sometimes at night. You should take into account your level of experience and be careful not to overstrain yourself; if you are a beginner, you can always warm up to diving and go on more advanced scuba vacations at a later date. The most sophisticated scuba vacations offer 50 foot luxury speed yachts with doors and ladders designed for efficient entry into the water. The yachts should have an excellent record of safety and have a high ratio of guides to guests. Many of these yacht scuba vacations will last for 7 days, with options to dive every day and also a free night dive. When you are not diving, you can enjoy comfortable rooms, internet, a mini-bar, a laundry service, and other amenities. Before embarking on your vacation, it is important to consider the focus of your trip. If you are the only person in your family who is interested in scuba vacations, you will want to choose a resort that is geared toward activities besides diving to keep other members of your family amused. However, if diving is a family obsession, you might want to consider dedicating your entire vacation to diving, and choose scuba vacations that focus more on the diving experience than on other activities.
