These orders are intended to support operations and social/physical distancing required by the State’s Restart Plan. These temporary amendments will immediately cease upon termination of the State of Emergency or as otherwise mandated by the City Manager and the portable structures and temporary uses will be required to be removed and the site restored.Temporary Outdoor Dining PatiosA business may temporarily expand their outdoor dining and eating area outside of the currently designated/approved location to allow for increased social distancing related to COVID-19. A business may temporarily erect a building(s) or similar structure(s) designed for occupation which is not placed on a permanent foundation to allow for testing, waiting or staging related to COVID-19. The definition shall include construction trailers, portable classrooms, tents, trailers and other similar structures. A Certificate of Zoning Plan Approval shall be required to permit these designated portable structures and temporary uses. Permit process and informationDublin Playgrounds, Parks ReopeningAs part of the City's Restart plan, Dublin's basketball, sand and grass volleyball courts are now open.Sand CourtsAs of June 10, Dublin playgrounds and park restrooms have reopened. However, the Ballantrae Community Park splash pad and restroom will remain closed at this time. The City encourages safety precautions for visiting Dublin’s 44 playgrounds:The following park restrooms opened June 10: Amberleigh Park, Avery Central, Avery North, Avery South, Coffman Park, Coffman Pavilion, Coffman Skate Park, Darree Baseball, Darree Soccer East, Darree Soccer West, Emerald Central, Emerald North, Ferris-Wright Park, Kaltenbach Park, Miracle League, and Scioto Park.Outdoor Activities – City Openings and ClosuresCity Moves Forward with Proposed Restart PlanFollowing Thursday night’s special City Council meeting, the City will move forward with its proposed Restart/Reopen Plan May 26 – Tennis and pickleball courts, baseball, softball and cricket fields, and skate park reopened.
