We’re providing design solutions for Heathrow’s IT and asset replacement programme. In 2016 we were appointed as part of an Integrated Design team that will design the airport’s sustainable expansion. Hinkley Point C (HPC) is the first nuclear power station to be built in the UK since the 1990s. Technically complex and the country’s largest infrastructure project – our talented people from Atkins are supporting its development. Any major road or highway construction involves a variety of transport professionals, including highway engineers, highway designers, water resources engineers, transport planners, environmental planners, and many more experienced personnel. Jerel Rackley is a Transportation Engineer who, since graduating from Texas A M University in 2002, has spent his career serving agencies in the design and oversight of roadway projects. He has been at Atkins since August of 2011 and is a recent graduate of the Building People Leaders program. He took some time to share his experiences about the Mentoring Program.
