There's nothing better than cooking dinner with family and friends and then sitting on the deck to take in the breeze, the sunset, the stars! Bay scallops, a walk on a windswept beach, crackling fires, laughing with dear old friends. I will take these memories back with me to the mainland. As soon as we stepped out of the car we could hear the sound of the waves lightly crashing against the shoreline. We were at once relaxed and in vacation mode. We had 3 generations of family together to celebrate a very special reunion, and I would not have chosen any other place to be. We felt as if time had stopped for a while...just the sound of the birds and the wind, the sunshine and wonderful beach with waves that kids — and parents — enjoyed surfing.
