These are unprecedented times and we are trying to deal with them day by day.We want to start by telling all of our students how saddened we are that their year is finishing in this way. We are proud of their efforts throughout the year and know that they will continue to do great things. Please stay focused and finish the rest of the semester on a strong note.To our seniors and senior athletes, We know how frustrating, painful and hard this is for you. We appreciate all that you have done for our school and community. This is not how you wanted your senior year to end, but you are strong, hard working and intelligent young men and women who will persevere. You have always made us proud and we know you will continue to do so in the future.Thanks to all of our parents, booster club members and sponsors. We cannot accomplish what we do and provide for our student athletes without your support. Hopefully we can get back on the courts and fields very soon.Stay Safe.Sincerely,Ken Johnson - PrincipalTim Watkins - Athletic Director As of January 1, 2020all new physicals will be completed online.Physicals that are already on file and current will still be kept inour Athletics office as a hard copy, but ALL NEW PHYSICALS will be required to be on Dragonfly Max.https://www.dragonflymax.com/ As of 1/1/2020, Archer High School will be moving to Dragonfly Max for all Pre-participation documentation. Please understand that the required forms for participation in Gwinnett County Athletics, and specifically, Archer High School include: GHSA Student/Parent Concussion Awareness Form GHSA Heat and Humidity Policy for ALL Sports Physical Examination Form GHSA Student/Parent Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Form Media Release Alternative Transportation Liability Release Transcript WaiverWith all of these required forms, the 2 page front and back copies were becoming too cumbersome. Additionally, the Dragonfly system will give our coaches access to these physicals from their phones allowing them to have the appropriate information at their fingertips in case of an emergency. Finally, you and your athlete will be able to access your physical and print from home if you want to go to a camp or clinic where a physical is required. We may hit some bumps in the road as we transition to this new system; however, there are over 10 schools in Gwinnett that have been using this system for over a year and most of the problems have been rectified.
