The Blog Starts Here... Monday, April 3, 2017 The Waiting Room
An all NEW Salty Slug Short one page comic is up on Thesaltyslug.com.

This one page comic was inspired by the birth of my son. I was trying to imagine what it would be like for him you sit and wait in the same room for 9 months with no change of scenery.

So decided to try my hand at a love story this month. This one was inspired by a conversation i heard on the radio about long distance relationships. So I thought about how that would work in my universe and this is what I came up with.

So for 2017 I decided to try something new. I've always loved comics and wanted to produce my own. Because of this I've decided to start to produce some web comics that could potentially turn into printed material sometime in the future. In the meantime I'll publish them on my website. Some may be funny, some may be scary but they will all be weird. I'll try to publish a new comic the first week of every month and if time allows I might publish more. I hope you like! I just updated my weapons in my travel kit for this weekend's Hartford Open Studio. I switched out my copic brush pen for my favorite pentel brush pen. Here is what is in there now:

7. 0.5 pentel mechanical pen
