With great care for the students, their families, and the staff, the Primary and Middle School will be able to accommodate in-person learning full time for any enrolled students while the East Central Region remains in Phases 3 or 4 of the Restore Illinois Plan. Enrolled families will also have the option to remain in remote learning until Phase 5, or until they are comfortable making the shift to in-person learning.
Commitment to our BIPOC CommunityThe recent, senseless deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, and Breonna Taylor, have sparked an outpouring of emotions and highlighted the inequities and injustices faced by people of color in our country. We want to openly share that we stand united with our Black community at home and across the nation. We repudiate systemic injustice that is rooted in racist ideology as well as the culture that allows that ideology to exist. We believe that racism and prejudice are unacceptable in our society and we grieve the losses and trauma that have resulted from decades of systematic racism in our country. More...

STEAM Studio AstroTech Unit Focuses on Telescopes Courtesy of Astronomy’s WongSTEAM Studios Tera Group (grades 3-5) focused a recent unit aroundAstro-Technology. Jonah S. competed in the IESA State Cross Country meet for a second timefinishing 39th out of 233 runners in the boys 1A division. His final time was11:37, nearly besting his personal record.
Fallon M.NGS Cross Country athlete Fallon M. became the schoolsfirstgirl qualifier for the IESA State Cross Country Meet with her 14th place finish in the girls division during sectionals. Fallon went on to achieve 183rdplace as 6th grade student amid a field of 232 runners.
