Murton Park Reopening Saturday 20th June!Visit the outside areas of the beautiful 16 acre site.Including: outdoor museum exhibits, farm animals, nature trail, Viking village, Roman fort and railway station platform.There will be a few changes to keep everyone safe:Hand sanitizer pointsCough screensSocial distanced queuingMuseum galleries closedStaff PPECafé open on weekends (eating outside only)Playground closedThese restrictions will be loosened as soon as it is safe to do so in line with government guidelines.If you hold a 12 month ticket your right to return will be extended by 3 months.During the period that only the outside areas are open there is the option to pay half price to access for the day only. Services for SchoolsMurton Park is home to the award winning Danelaw Centre for Living History. Danelaw offers a range of educational services to schools at Key Stages 1 and 2.The award winning team run a range of pre-booked study days for groups of up to 60 children here on the site, or in your school.
