February 6, 2018: DRL paper included in the annual highlights of 2017 in Journal of Physics: Condensed MatterDRL paper “Interface electronic structure at the topological insulator–ferrimagnetic insulator junction” has been included in the annual journal highlights, in Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter November 1, 2017: Dr. Kinam Kim promoted to President of the Device Solutions Division of Samsung Electronics Co.Congratulations to Dr. Kinam Kim who has been promoted to President of the Device Solutions Division of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.Dr. Kim earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering at UCLA in 1994 under the supervision of Prof. Kang Wang.  He is also the president of the Korea Printed Electronics Association, the Vice-Chair of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea, and a member of the Board for the International Printed Electronics Association. Areas of Focus Nanoelectronics, spintronics and nanomagnetics, non-volatile electronics and low dissipation devices, quantum device and systems, frontier materials by molecular beam epitaxy, photonics and energy.
