As an undergrad, Clopton balanced her interest in Lehigh s UN program with earning a dual degree in Health, Medicine and Society and political science and a minor in sustainable development and environmental studies. Clopton, who received a choral arts scholarship, also sang with a number of choral groups at Lehigh. Currently, Clopton is completing her master s in the environmental policy program while working in Lehigh s Office of Sustainability.Lighting the WayThis graduating scholar-athlete made an impact on the field as an award-winning, four-year field hockey player and the impact she could have on the world is already in the works. Amanda Boyer 20, a molecular biology major with a near-perfect GPA, interned at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center Cancer Institute last summer and will head to the University of Maryland School of Medicine for her master s. This spring, Amanda was recognized with the Allegiance Award for her contributions to campus, is an NFHCA Scholar of Distinction, and is a multi-time Academic All-Patriot League honoree.Driven to ExcelJuwon Owolabi 20 has had an entrepreneurial drive since he launched a lawn care business when he was 8 years old. He has tried a variety of ventures in the ensuing years, and since coming to Lehigh, he joined Lehigh s Startup Academy, the Men of Color Alliance, the National Society of Black Engineers, and directed the Cryptography Club. In his sophomore year, Juwon and Linzelle Robinson cofounded LJ s Midnight Munchies, a late-night food business popular with classmates.
