FOX CITIES COMPOSITE SQUADRON UPDATE!Fox Cities Composite Squadron will NOT be holding in-person meetings until further notice. At this time we are holding virtual meetings. Anyone is interested in learning more about Fox Cities CAP is encouraged to contact us via our contact form. Our next informational meeting will be December 1st. It is unknown at this time if that meeting will be virtual or in-person. Stay calm and CAP on!The Civil Air Patrol is the official auxiliary to the United States Air Force.  Our Squadrons are comprised of volunteers who facilitate three missions:Cadet ProgramsOur Cadet Program is open to youth starting at age 12, up to age 18. Civil Air Patrol Cadets are able to experience aviation in a way few other youth do. As a CAP cadet you will have the opportunity to fly in airplanes, soar in gliders, learn to lead, wear the Air Force uniform with pride, and learn the skills necessary to participate in search and rescue missions!Emergency ServicesEmergency Services missions are ever changing. Fox Cities CAP trains members to participate in search and rescue missions, ranging from missing persons, downed aircraft, or disaster relief. CAP is always looking for pilots to fly aerial missions, teach our Cadets, and participate in training scenarios! Aerospace EducationCAP not only offers Aerospace Education to our members, but we have programs available to help teachers and outside organizations learn and experience aviation and STEM! Cadets are able to experience orientation flights (and flight training) in gliders and powered aircraft. Fox Cities is home to a Cessna 182 with a glass cockpit , gps and electronic monitoring. Pilots and other members share their aviation passion with Cadets through hands-on labs in rocketry, aerodynamics, aviation/flying, and more!Fox Cities Composite Squadron volunteers are Cadets (youth ages 12-21) and Senior Members (18 forever!). Adults members must be at least 18 years old and must have a passion for service. CAP senior members serve in many different ways. CAP needs pilots, youth leaders, aircrew members, administrative expertise, and public affairs minded people.
