Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a quick update on the label, orders, product availability, etc…
First and foremost, thank you all for the continued support for what started as a passion project and turned into something that was gearing up to be awesome.
Over the past few months, I put a lot of time and money into putting out music (mostly cassettes up until this point) for the releases I personally loved and adored.
We received our first two releases (SPREAD THE DISEASE and ONE HIDDEN FRAME) without a hitch from our supplier in China.
Our third and fourth releases (THROES and ANODYNE) were a damn nightmare to get produced from our supplier in Canada but we eventually got them and have pretty much had to put them all together ourselves (cases, inserts, etc no shrink-wrap, etc.. )
Those two release (and any orders of other distro items that contained those items are shipping now)
As for the other four releases (TAKEN, CHAMBERLAIN, GREAT FALLS, AND THOUSAND OAKS), those are still stuck in customs.
With that said, I am glad to offer a refund to any of you who has ordered those as it looks as though it will be another few weeks before receiving that product. If you’d prefer to wait on your order, that is totally rad of you but not expected at this point. PLEASE SEE BELOW ON HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND.
Lastly, for those of you who ordered SPREAD THE DISEASE or GREAT FALLS shirts, same issue with customs… they are sitting there and we are at the mercy of when they release.
For those that care - the future of Low Sea Records is pretty much on hold as we wait for any and all previous orders to be cleared up before continuing with what started, as I mentioned, as a passion project to put rad stuff out there on mediums not previously available.
Timing is everything and a time where supply chain is absolutely horrid probably wasn’t the best time to start a label.
