Ocean 44 is seafood reinvented in a vibrant, upscale atmosphere specializing in world-class seafood and the great steaks we are known for at Steak 44. Different than anything we have done in the past, the fine dining atmosphere is second to none, featuring a blend of dining settings ranging from dramatic to intimate.

At the core of the Ocean 44 menu is our chef-sourced, highest graded sustainable fresh seafood from around the world, like oysters, lobster, and more. Seafood entrees are enhanced with unique and interesting appetizers and side dishes that go beyond the traditional seafood menu.

Ocean 44 brings a vibrant and contemporary atmosphere to the Scottsdale fine dining scene. The interior has been carefully designed by Testani Design Troupe. Ocean 44 dining provides our guests with an exciting seaside feel with grand spaces in addition to smaller, more intimate spots while keeping our tradition of intimacy and staying true to the upscale vibe.

Our dining space has been intricately planned to provide an aesthetic for any occasion. Quiet nooks and private dining rooms offer an intimate, romantic setting, while our larger dining areas give large groups and parties a chance to engage in an energetic experience. The restaurant also features an extravagant glass expo kitchen with nearby seating so guests can be apart of the action. We have created a vibrant, fashionable atmosphere that emulates an airy coastal feel, right here in Arizona.

Our dining room features a large lively bar where guests can enjoy a taste of something from our extensive wine and Scotch list. Ocean 44’s menu is composed of the freshest seafood options, some of which will be cooked in our custom-made, wood-fired oven. Chef Siegfried Hohaus’s culinary team can be seen preparing selections from our expansive raw bar, fresh seafood menu, or our prime-grade steak menu, turning a night out in Scottsdale into an unforgettable performance.

Before indulging in one of our perfectly prepared seafood options, whet your appetite with a generous selection from our appetizer menu. While we pride ourselves on serving the highest-grade of sustainable, fresh seafood from around the world, we will still be featuring many of our mouth-watering prime-grade steaks that Steak 44 and Dominick’s Steakhouse have become famous for serving. Our open kitchen features a raw bar, which is on display for all of our guests to view and order from, including freshly shucked oysters from the West and East Coasts. Ample dish selections will be served a la carte, allowing each guest to personalize their dining experience and giving them the opportunity to enjoy multiple flavor profiles throughout their night.

REACHING BEYOND TRADITIONAL SEAFOOD RESTAURANT

When brothers Jeffrey and Michael Mastro, their father Dennis, and partner Scott Trolio established Ocean 44 in 2018, they sought to create a unique seafood restaurant in Scottsdale with interesting appetizers and side dish selections that went beyond the traditional seafood menu. They are now reinventing the industry with their modern spin on high-grade, sustainable, and fresh seafood from around the world. Seafood is part of the Mastro heritage as they have traveled the country developing the Ocean 44 menu. The group currently owns several fine-dining steakhouses that feature many fresh seafood offerings including, Dominick’s Steakhouse and Steak 44 in Phoenix, AZ, Steak 48 in Chicago, IL, and Steak 48 in Houston, TX.
