TALES OF THE TRAVELING TOTE AND A SECRET GARDEN

Tales of The Traveling Tote

Welcome to another adventure of the Tales of the Traveling Tote. This is where my fellow Traveling Tote friends and I share our latest travels, projects and our most current events. You will have anopportunity to visitother members at the end of this post and learn about our giveaway.

Jim and I traveled to Atlanta to spend the Easter weekend with my sister and brother-in-law. It was so much fun shopping, enjoying walks in the gardens around my sister's home and discovering a secret garden in the middle of Buckhead. More on that after a few shopping photos with Miss Courtney.

My sister and I love to visit Boxwoods in Buckhead, a favorite place to find seasonal decor and tabletop accessories from their two shops. The garden
center is where you'll find lovely seasonal arrangements and potted plants, garden statuary and birdbaths. I once found a treasure here, a large lidded Quimper urn.

We had time for a quick stop in Anthropologie, another favorite shop. I was delighted with their visual merchandising displays. I love finding creative ideas here, on a much smaller scale!

I just love the moss and flower covered Peacock

The peacock also had blueand white ceramic chips along the neck

"Creative,"is what Miss Courtney was thinking

Next was a stop at Neiman's, where Miss Courtney was happy to relax and meet some of herfriends.

A stroll through the St. Regis Atlanta on Paces Ferry Road was enchanting. It was spring and Easter weekend and a must see for lovely floral and Easter decorations.

Such sweetness!

Outside the St. Regis is our destination, The Garden Room. This is the secret garden I am so happy to share with you. I read about this restaurant before Covid, the hot new spot where it isalmost impossible to get reservations. I had forgotten all about it, not really thinking itwould reopen after Covid. Well, my sister said we were going! No reservations with only hopes of a bar seat, we got lucky! They had openings since it was late afternoon before the dinner hour. The sweethostess lead us to atable where the four of us were seated.

Chandliers and blooms

Romantic and chic, the perfect place for celebrations

This was like entering a fairy garden

Our cocktails werewhimsical and delicious

We enjoyed small bites since it was more of alate lunch and a little earlyfor dinner

Dessert was unlikeanything I've ever tasted! A mix of flavors for melt in your mouth sweetness! After this I forgot to take photos of the other plates and coffee.

LE RÊVE

The guys, my brother in law and Jim seemed to enjoy thesecretgarden as much as my sister and I enjoyed this garden oasis.

Miss Courtney was very happy she was included

If you are in the Atlanta area you might want to consider an evening out at The Garden Room.Reservations highly recommend.

Early May Miss Courtney and I enjoyed lunch at an Italian restaurant in Birmingham with Jenna and Miss Coquille. Always fun to see Jenna and catch up. Wemissed Ricki Jill and Countess De Monet. June will be a happy lunch when we all get together, can't wait!
