The team at Project Amplify is thrilled to announce the launch of our new book Hear My Voice / Escucha Mi Voz, compiled by Prof. Warren Binford, with aforewordfrom Michael Garcia Bochenek of Human Rights Watch. This illustrated book is a beautifully crafter mosaic of stories from children detained at the border in the full authenticity of their own words and accompanied by powerful illustrations from 17 Latinx artists. This book offers an opportunity to better understand human migration andchildren'srights, and provides simple suggestions for ways we all can help. What is Project Amplify?

Project Amplify is a national nonprofit (501c3) created in 2019 to establish legal protections for child migrants in government care. After Professor Warren Binford witnessed unprecedented human rights abuses being committed against child migrants, she co-founded Project Amplify with attorneys Hope Frye and Erin Albanese. The team has worked diligently to tell the children's stories to millions of Americans and international audiences by engaging with leading media outlets, and through speaking opportunities. To further keep the issue top of mind, PA launched a national series of art, theatre and musical performances, centering child migrants. We believe our supporters, whether they were legendary artists like Neil Young or amateur performers, were instrumental in reaching new audiences through their art and inspiring meaningful action, including voting for change in the 2020election.

While some of the cruelest policies enacted by the previous administration have been abolished by the Biden administration, we know that we can and must do better to address 21st-century immigration challenges. Project Amplify will continue to advocate for improved reception, identification and reunification for children. We also remain committed to working with policymakers at the highest level, sharing our expertise as lawyers, human rights experts and community organizers.
