Chambers defeated Kenna Seiler in March with 63.2% of the vote and is unopposed on the November ballot, replacing former justice Hollis Horton.

Dianne spent her childhood in various cities in Texas and time in Mexico with her grandparents. She later moved to Anahuac, Texas, where she met her husband, Vernon Caninenberg.
