The Data Jam project, including TERC Principal Scientist Andee Rubin, has released an article titled ‘How do hurricanes impact forest ecosystems?’

The article profiles several Puerto Rican scientists who serve as mentors in the Data Jam project, sharing their research with high school students involved in the program. Published in Spanish and English, it aims to inspire students to explore careers in science, particularly in the field of ecology. The article can be read here.
