The Kingdom is Within

From the beginning of His public ministry, Jesus consistently told those to whom he ministered that God’s Kingdom is NOT of this world. Perhaps most striking is the moment Jesus was lead into the desert to be tempted by Satan following a 40-day period of fasting. After being lead to the top of a mountain, the adversary shows Him all the kingdoms of the world shining in their glory. And very slyly, Satan leans in and whispers to Jesus, I will give you all this….'if only you bow down and worship me.'

PARISH POTLUCK PICNIC (JUNE 9 after church): Please join us for the annual potluck picnic at DANA PARK (10-20 McTernan St, Cambridge)! Bring a blanket, some eats or drinks (for yourselves or to share if you’d like), balls, frisbees, bathing suits to splash in the sprinklers! Dana Park is a 5-10min walk south of the Central Square (a few blocks down Magazine St, past the Greek Church). Even if it’s hot, we always have a cool, shady spot under some trees. This is a fun opportunity to relax and chill with our church family. OPEN TO ALL AGES!!! (We can coordinate rides for folks who need assistance getting to the park--please contact or email Diana Yousef ).
