Through Monroe Plan’s Holiday Families Program, our employees carry on a long tradition of supporting our members during the Holiday Season. This year, Monroe Plan employees purchased holiday gifts for 29 families including 12 adults and 62 children.

In a significant development, we are excited to announce the expansion of our Utilization Management services with our long-term partner Amida Care. Building on our established collaboration, we have extended our services to include Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) reviews for members in need of Personal Care Services including Consumer Directed Personal Care Service, in addition to our existing responsibilities for Utilization Management (UM) reviews. OASAS provides funding to not-for-profit organizations, local governmental units, and other businesses to support a comprehensive system of addiction services for all New Yorkers. The competitive procurement process enables OASAS to combat addiction at the local level by supporting new programs and expanding existing services for substance use disorders. Monroe Plan for Medical Care is excited to share that we are supporting OASAS in the clinical UM functions.
