2024-25 Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten(TK) Registration
Kindergarten registration for the 2024-25 school year is NOW OPEN! Children who turn five years old on or before September 15, 2024 are eligible for kindergarten. Please take a moment to read through this information and get your child registered!

Is your student five years old but not quite ready for kindergarten? Mason City Community School District will offer two sections of transitional kindergarten (TK) for the 2024-25 school year. Space is limited so there will be criteria to determine placement including, child's date of birth, teacher recommendation, previous school experience, and parent recommendation. Feel free to reach out to your elementary principal if you have any questions.

Summer Food Service Program
Mason City Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided, at a first come, first serve basis, at the sites and times as follows:
June 3, 2024 thru August 23, 2024 (Monday-Friday)
